The film rights to her play "The Springboard" (1927) was purchased by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1929, but a film version was never produced.

A leading suffragette of the 1910's.
Best known for her 1940 poem "The White Cliffs of Dover", filmed by MGM in 1944.
