ATTENTION - dirk bogarde deserves more written about him, he is such an interesting chap. ive seen a lot of his films, read all his autobiographys but still feel i know very little about him.

now he has been dead a while theres little whispers sneaking out about this and that, its all very juicy!! but wasnt he so good at hiding what he was about and who he was? it makes no difference but he is soooooooo interesting - you agree??

i think he's great personnally, a bit of a moan and i think he had a silver spoon stuck up his ass but it makes be like him even better. a very magnetic actor with huge PRESENCE on screen, i think anything he was in was watchable - if only for him, but i think in most cases he was always better than his material, and if only he had cracked the american movies, hed have been HUGE HUGE HUGE, bigger than he is now.

so perhaps a life unfullfilled, but still a great guy and i want to know more about him, so where all his war stories made up (did he not liberate the death camp?) what about his private life, was his obsession with cappucine invented? was he gay? details please, dont get me wrong i love dirk, but he is still a mystery.
