Owner's ado:
these are films that me or my twin brother or both like. There's no order so you can do what you want with this list. When I bump into some film and realize that I've seen it, I add it on this list, so this list's gonna broaden infinitely.
some might be missing, so I'd be glad if you recall some of those grandiose films not listed here

Just a list of the horror films I'm looking forward to seeing in 2013.
List incorporates movies of interest that are yet to be officially released; includes projects in various stages of production: announced, rumored, in development, pre-production, filming, and post-production. However, those listed as either announced, rumored, or in development may not appear due to perceived unlikelihood of project's eventual release (incl. films in "development hell").
Ranking is influenced by proximity of release date; career prestige of director and/or cast and/or writer(s); strength of most previous project(s) by director/cast/writer(s); strength of film's premise; intensity of ad campaign (TV spots, print advertisements, etc.); popularity of genre*, debut and quality of (i) teaser/full-length trailer(s) and (ii) promotional material(s).
MOVIES ARE REMOVED FROM THE LIST UPON RELEASE
* - If few horror films are slated for the year, any horror film of suspected quality may be ranked high(er) due to the rarity of movies of its kind.

Welcome to what I hope is the most comprehensive ranking of zombie movies on IMDB. This list is subjective as nobody has seen them all and there are many, many more beyond the three hundred seen here. But hopefully there are a few new "undead" flicks for Zombie fans to chew on. Also, after the first one hundred and fifty or so films it starts to get a little ugly as the cinematography viewing quality drops off rather quick. Which is why I won't post more than what is already here. Also , I frequently update my revue with new undead films so feel free to revisit. Thanks.
Last year I watched at least a new movie a day (ended up being a total of 405). It was too much. So for the rest of this year I'm committing to 250 new movies (to me).

I'm always updating this list, when I watch a movie of this list, then I remove the movie from this list, and when I find a movie that I want to watch, so I add to the list

well here's a random list of films that remind me of this year
will add for further remade movie shockers
Some of the best or down right horrible sequels and remakes of popular or even little known movies
My opinion of course :) Ghost films freak me the most which is why I do not include alot of slashers and or monsters and such. Basically its films that have potential to be real ie: Spirits, Demons and possessions of sorts. Oh and another thing, some of these movies I am not a fan of ie: PA, (havent even seen the 3 sequels), but I tried to compile this list with films that are pretty freaky and with ones that the general public find terrifying.
This is just a list of films that I've seen. To help me keep track of what I need to see and what I've already seen.
Actingout177 here again. I'm a 23 yr. old male who has recently begun to try to advise movie go-ers to see in theaters. I might not be any Ebert or anything, but I have some background in theater, film-making, cinematography, and SFX-make-up from a few years in college. I will try to update as much as possible. Here Ya Go!

Possible Oscar movies/ nominations for the 2014 Academy Awards.
It seems like it's going to be a tough year for Best Actor; Will Leo get snubbed again or will he at least get nominated this year? Also Benedict Cumberbatch enters the Oscar race for the first time.
There are a lot of movies that are listed here that will be nominated for best picture. The Oscars now have a record of Bio Pics that have won the award. So I think it's up to "Saving Mr. Banks" and "The Monuments Men" for Best Picture.
In my opinion, not to many animated movies seem to have Oscar material this year, with the exception of "Frozen" and "Epic". That's because of so many sequels and prequels in the genera.
I think the film that has the strongest chance at Best Visual Effects is "Oz the Great and Powerful"
All of the Independent Films may not be listed below.
And remember to keep an eye out because this list will be updated constantly!

Thank you for viewing! I am constantly updating this list with more movies as I find them so keep checking back and feel free to leave comments and suggestions if you'd like to.
This is my List for movies I need to see in 2013 + some movies I have already seen
These horror movies are either sequels, prequels, remakes, or just movies that look awesome!
My personal picks for TV and film. (Currently in no particular order, with minimal descriptions. I'm still working on the list, and it will take some time to get everything in order! :x)
I wrote this for anyone that cares to listen to what I have to say, I'm always interested in other peoples opinions and film history so I thought I'd share mine. This also functions as a film collection list, I own atleast 90 percent of these films, maybe more.
Films I have seen atleast once, some i've seen 40 or more times. List is being updated regulary. Sorry for the poor spelling.
The list should come up between 1000 and 1100, a rough estimate. My personal collection should be pushing 400 films right now, and around another 1000 in the house. Considering I'am fairly young I would say thats a good start. There is maybe a two dozen or more movies that I can't remember the names of, or that haven't come to mind yet. I am working on completing a top 100 non-mainstream quotes list from movies that would not be in any other list I have seen. I have put 20 out of the 100 so far.
My memories:
Time to go back to the past, the oldest films I can recall seeing between the ages 4 to 5 are the Godzilla movies, including the american one. This films were pure gold back then, and some of them still are. I had a lot of them on VHS, what more could a kid ask for. I still love these films to this day, even the american version , most won't agree on that with me.
Then came my obssession with Aliens and Predators, I must own thousands of dollars of merchandise for these films. I consider Alien and Aliens two of the best sci-fi movies ever made. Predator is one of those films that I would watch atleast once a week, I couldn't get enough. I had to have seen it between 70 and 80 times, come to think of it I haven't watched it in a year or two, I guess it burnt me out.
My crime drama intrest lasted a fair bit of time, I loved Scarface, it used to be my favourite film but now I can't even stand to watch it, the game may have had something to do with that. I eventually found my way into Martin Scorsese films, Goodfellas and all that other great stuff. The Coen brothers made some great crime films aswell, Blood Simple and No Country For Old Men, I loved those films.
Now it's time for the big dog that has yet to be de-throwned from my full attention, Horror. This is where it's at, such a large quantity of trashy garbage that I had access to via The Scream channel, to bad it's gone and has been replaced by Dusk. The very first horror film I ever bought was the ultimate edition of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it has to be the only time I have viewed all of the special features more than once. From there on in, I was hooked and have yet to grow tired with the genre, it takes up atleast 65 percent of my film collection.
! As of april it has been de-throwned, what a shame, I'd rather watch good movies, I just can't understand why horror films can't be good also.!
!!!STATE OF HORROR FILMS: MY THOUGHTS!!!
It's a shame that we don't get good horror movies anymore, we either get generic supernatural ghost tale or low budget exploitation, all of it is garbage. I have to say I am sick and tired of seeing extreme violence, I don't care for it anymore. I am also sick of terrible characters and garbage stories. This genre is on life support, IT'S ALL GARBAGE! I want to be frightended for crying out loud, but nothing does the trick for me anymore. I am more frightened from my own stories than I am from any horror film I can think of. I know how to make the good stuff, suspence and tension are a key, it can be shocking without being gory, and it can disturb you, but the characters have to be unique and the story not so generic, it has to leave you with the sense of being horrified. You could throw in some psychological elements. I try my best to incorporate these keys into my horror stories. In short I can't wait to get out there, I think about it every day, if I die before than it would all be a joke, everything I've worked so hard to create. Who knows, maybe hollywood might be a nuclear graveyard by the time I'm older. I wish I could get out there now, the days are becoming increasingly boring and I do the same damn thing every day, these next few years are going to be painfully long, but whatever I'm just rambling.
I have a lot of reviews to write, I've done a mear 106 reviews so far, I atleast want to get to 250 written reviews. I will eventually leave a comment on each film in this list, it will probably take me a month or two. Top 10 and top 5 film lists inbound for this page.
I have like 5 reviews written down on paper, but i've been too lazy to submit them to this site, they include some friday the 13th films, sleepaway camp 3, motel hell, and mad man(beware the madman mars).
I love film with every ounce of my body. Nothing beats seeing a movie that you wouldn't mind watching another twenty or more times. My favourite genre is horror, I started watching it at a young age and haven't stopped. Creating my own stories and characters is my strong key. I have created and visulized more than 35 original films, I have written many story boards, character bios, and plot summaries. If they were to be on film, they would all run over feature length. I also love creating my own versions or sequels to previously exsisting franchise. They range from a Predator sequel to a Fallout series. The Fallout films I have created would be the pinnacle of post apocolyptic films, but of course that would come with a big price tag. From what I have created for a story arch, I would say well over 200 million for the first film. Thats from a huge fan, Hollywood would most definately butcher it. I don't think a film based on this series will happen anytime soon, it has to be done with the same style as the games, if it wasn't I would probably hate it. It would be a huge task, and a big risk for any studio. I am currently working on a short novel, I have completed 8 out of the 11 chapters. So you can see that I have already begun my career for the future. I got some important advice from James Rolfe about film making and my dreams, I thank him for that. As of March 2013, my life is going great at 17, I got my films, writing, and video games, I couldn't picture it any better. But of course in the end I haven't had a friend in almost six years, hell I haven't even talked to anyone my own age in 5 years. It doesn't matter, I have all I want, they can have all of their partying, drinking, sex and all that other degenerate crap.
MY STORIES
Now I may or may not put some of my own stories on here, it will more in likely just be brief snippets from my films, nothing anyone can rip me off from. I am proud of my most recent project, it is some high quality stuff, I've already completed these two films story lines. It's all done, dialouge thought out, the main character is perfected to my vision, I just have to write my version of the screen play. I have all the time I need, so I'm never rushed. Creating and visualizing my films is all I'm good at doing, my life would be pretty horrible without that ability. And yes it is a ability, other kids my own age lack creativity and imagination, it shows in the work they do, what little of it there is. Now I could go off on a long winded rant about such subjects, but that would be off topic.

3. Dark Skies, 5 out of 10
4. Evil Dead, 6 out of 10
Films I have seen atleast once, some i've seen 40 or more times.
