Lists related to In Bruges
This is a list of my favourite movies of all time so far, please let me know if there are awesome movies that haven't made this list because I probably haven't seen them. I'm only 17 and have only started watching serious movies in 2011. My list is constantly changing and no movie is in a fixed position. Also I am very aware that there are Foreign movies out there. I am soon going to be watching a fare few foreign movies. Also I am also going to be watching some older movies from the 40's, 50's etc. Please leave a comment as i will eventually reply back to you. If you have a imdb list that you would like me to look at please feel free to post it as i will look at it eventually.
This list isn't supposed to be a copy of IMDb's Top 250 or anything like that. I know there might be a couple of movies that might not suit everybody but for some reason I enjoy them.
These are the categories which i have rated movies on imdb they range from 10 - 7. Also just to let everybody know i have rated over 900+ movies on imdb and these are my top 250. They are in order in which i think is best
1 - 114 = 10/10
115 - 191 = 9/10
192 - 245 = 8/10
246 - 250 = 7/10
Recently Watched:
The Wrestler
Unforgiven
Magnolia

Avatar sucked. Shawskank actually belongs on this list www.imdb.com/list/yV9aSP0znPw/.
A personal best choice of movies, including animated films, released this century. This list is completely subjective and in chronological order. Have excluded documentaries, which appear separately.
List of my favorite movies (was a hard job to sort them out a bit... first ~30 movies - difficult to say which I prefer, all are something very special to me). The list will keep updating - whenever i'll find a great movie.
I would love to get more suggestions for movies i haven't seen yet, and would somehow suit this list.

Top movies for Hip People of Generation Y onwards. These are movies that someone from Gen Y would get a hold of and greatly appreciate and grow up with. who also enjoys films that are cerebral, artistic, intense, dense, worldly, thrilling, sentimental, logical, witty, or profound.
p.s. I ranked films that are well known in America so i haven't even considered a whole bunch of foreign films.
P.S. almost none of these movies have plot wholes

This list is an ongoing work-in-progress. There are some stinkers in here, but they have their place - whether it's for nostalgic value or their contribution to a specific genre.
I believe films can be appreciated for their components as often as for the whole. Socially referential, emotionally relevant, politically poignant, individually ambiguous and culturally evocative... films express our identity, our values, our dreams and our doubts. Their cumulative art form succeeds in conveying what we find difficult to express.
Each entry is a film I've recommended to someone for one reason or another. Often, a single film for different reasons to different people. They're entered in no particular order, so sort alphabetically or chronologically for an easier time.

this list would have to be deemed as my own wayward documentation of the many films i have personally enjoyed.. for one reason or another.
i am certain(!) you will sift through some films that you could consider to be 'questionable'.. but each entry does have its own investment with me.
film, as the moving canvas, can be appreciated in so many different and unique ways.. it is alive and most certainly dynamic
..in other words: 'this is my dream collection- which spans over a century of time'.
(an ever evolving embryo)
(and a work-in-progress).

A list of films that have had a strong impact on me. Please feel free to give me suggestions on movies I may like.
A personal choice of the greatest movies of all time. An ever-evolving, lifetime quest of an endless journey. Have excluded animated films and documentaries, which are listed independently. This list is purely subjective and in chronological order: (1902-2012).
This is not the list of the BEST movies ever,it is just the list of movies that had the biggest impression on me.
I know Coyote Ugly doesn't deserve grade 10 but I just love that movie.

BEST 100 MOVIES take a look at the list, and comment... (does not include animation videos) updates every week
You know how sometimes once is not enough? Well these are the movies I could watch many more times. I even would watch any of them right know if anyone would suggest it.
NB! This list doesn't include animation movies, because I can watch those forever.

They don't make enough crime films. One of the best genres out there, I have probably given more crime films a 10 star rating than any other genre. The list isn't really in order, I love these films so much that I could never make up my mind on which ones are better than others. #1, House of Games, is the only movie ranked appropriately. One of the best movies ever made.
These films are better then a number of movies in the top 250 at the moment. If you agree then give them the rating they deserve. Comment your own...
In no particular order this is my tribute to all the films that have made me think, laugh, gasp, cry, but most of all have stood out in my memory. There aren't many pre 1980 films on the list, which basically reflects that I grew up in the 80's, but overtime I hope to redeem myself and no doubt the list will change...
My own Top 100 list in some kind of order, out of the circa 1200 movies I've watched.
Place 1-21: rated 10
Place 22-95: rated 9

An experimental list of ALL of my film recommendations for ALL kind of people. Not only the greatest and not necessarily according my exact taste. Films you SHOULD see to learn, to get info to entertain yourself for have fun, for a common Wednesday afternoon or for a big family film season at Saturday evening.
These are the movies and TV series which I have rated. I've seen lots more, but the titles have been forgotten. Most have been watched over the last three or four years.
Note: I have recently decided to add television shows to the list; therefore, over the following weeks, this list may grow dramatically before abruptly stopping at, I estimate, about 5,000.
Additional lists:

This list is ranked, from my most favorite starting at number one. This is not an easy thing to do. While I am mostly please with many of the positions, this list is very fluid in that many of them could be rank above or below of were they are at.
These are the films that either had some kind of impact on me, kept my eyes glued to the screen, or impressed me with its story and characters and its technical and artistic film-making. Or, the combination of any or all of the above. Either way, in the end, if I love it, it qualifies to go on this list.
And, there will be more to come in the near future.
Scores ranges from 10 to 7.5.

Not in order. There are more great movies in this decade but these are great movies that I love them too. So these are the Best of 2000's that I Love.
To be completed. If I see a Movie that deserves to be here, I will add it.

This is the list of all the movies I've watched so far, in random order.. will be updating this list frequently.
I will try to watch 365 movies this year. After I watch a new movie, it will be added here.
Films which are IMHO the best demonstrations of heavy amounts of dialogue. Let me know if I left out anything! I'm always eager to learn about more films that use so much dialogue so well! Listed in no particular order
This list contains, in my opinion, the best movies ranging from anime to war genres. Most are thought provoking and interesting, others are for pure entertainment.
Movies in my Library....

My list is composed of a mix of genre, all that I'd recommend as excellent viewing in the right frame of mind...
The order is alphabetical... Not in order of preference

This is my first list on IMDB and is going to be tough choosing my favourites of any genre/director/actor/etc. This is going to be a pretty big list. I would also welcome anyone's suggestions as well. So in no particular order...
A list where I'm going to add movies I have or could have learned something from or that has made me read more about something. I will not include documentaries, as their purpose often is to present facts.
I'm going to add more movies to this list, it's not finished.

I am not a film buff. I just love a good old fashioned entertaining movie. So don't go expecting masterpieces on this list.
These are the best movies I watched so far. I update the list whenever I watch a good movie. The movies are in a name order. I just put the most popular movies from the greatest directors, if you liked them, you can watch any of their movies.
Enjoy.

Movies have the ability to transport us to a place that we can't reach by ourselves. They penetrate the deepest corners of our souls and make us feel like dreaming with our eyes open. I don't want to imagine what my life would be like without the wonderful magic of cinema.
My love for movies is eternal so choosing the best 100 films out of so many masterpieces was a tough job as I am still young and there are a lot of movies I still have to watch. However, after many hours of browsing through my voting history I was finally able to come up with this list.
I'm not saying that this list contains the greatest movies of all time. These are just my favorites, the ones I never get tired of watching, the movies I love and appreciate.
Despite the fact that some of you will not agree with my choices, I truly believe that each film on this list is an exceptionally satisfying piece of cinema that has to be seen and experienced at least once.
Therefore, I invite you all to take a look at my list, analyze it and let me know what you think of it.

Basically i have compiled a list of movies that i have seen, that i believe need to be watched (at least once).
Movies Order:
The movies are in order by date: starting with the newest 2012 movies.
By year: Movies at the top are Drama/Adventure, Mid is Action, and the end is Comedies/Disney movies.
(for example year 2010: Black Swan is a drama, Book of Eli is action, Toy story 3 is comedy)
If you want more information on the movies you can always click on them as well.
I did my best to categorize them so if i messed up..oh well.
I also tried to put movies that had the same type of plot next to each other. So if you like one movie check the next trailer.
I will be posting only the movies that i have seen SO FAR that i think are worth seeing. So if i don't have a movie that you think i should watch or should be on this list don't be afraid to post.
I will continuously update my list as i keep watching them.
If you love watching movies as much as i do, then this list should really be helpful as it has a wide range of movies. Please feel free to post a comment.

movies/tv shows i have watched up till 5/14/2012 (A Separation)
This is a list of movies which (in my opinion) are good movies/tv shows/documentaries to watch. As time goes on and as I watch more movies, I will add the ones I think are good to this list.
Edit: Since imdb is not letting me comment in the comment section, I'm afraid theres no real way of giving feedback. I will, however, check out any posted links of other people's movie lists and I'm sure my watchlist will keep growing. Thanks

As a respond to my "Worst movies ever" may I introduce real stuff - both movies and series that are *beep* fantastic..
So I don't forget about the movies I have seen and I truly liked. Each one of them symbolizes something, things I have been going through, a mood I had for awhile..a smile I shared with people..thoughts and memories that never fade away. To be continued..
It's only English speaking movies by the way.
In my opinion I think Mulholland Drive and There will be blood are the best movies but it's just a matter of opinion feel free to comment

Thrillers : psychological, action , sci-fi, comedic..... whatever. each of these films made me sit on the edge of my seat and replay the scenes in my mind later.

There were three, actually two, I was unable to put on here. I could not locate 2007 ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATED SHORT FILMS, which came in at number 255 AND it also came in at number 256, between TROUBLE THE WATER and KISMAT KONNECTION. Finally, I was unable to put OTTO; OR, UP WITH THE DEAD PEOPLE on here, because it is categorized as an ADULT film. It came in at number 527, between GARDENS OF THE NIGHT and LOST IN BEIJING.
If there are any discrepancies, please let me know.

These are my favorite movies which are totally awesome, no particular order
The list is incomplete due to some high rated movies still waiting to be watched. The numbering doesn't mean anything. To number them correctly, I would need only #1 and #2, and then arrange the movies in those two categories, which would still be inaccurate.
Just the movies I can remember at this time. Not put a lot of thought to this list.
This could easily have been a top 20 list, but I don't want half the list to be US/UK coproductions.
These are the 10 best movies from the United Kingdom that I've seen.

this list started after reading other peoples lists. movies that haunt me, entertain me, movies i would watch again. includes mostly english spoken films, but also includes films from european and asian cinema.
...some old some new all great.....not in particular order.....except towards the top
I've seen thing you people wouldn't believe; attackships on fire off the shoulder of Orion, C-Beams glitter in the dark near Tanhausser Gate... all these momments with be lost.. in time.. like tears in the rain.
If you can recommend any more for my collection please leave a comment and i'll check 'em out.

Some movies to watch...
These motion pictures are more or less equally good.
PS! Could be used as a guide if you are seeking aestethic quality movies.

This is a list of movies you have probably never heard of that are MUCH better than most of the trash that is in Hollywood now. Join the lucky few who dont just watch movies because they are bored, but because they are entertaining
I can spend my whole life while I'm watching these films.
wish i can make my film

My rating system is lame, so no need to go on about that. This is a mix of childhood favourites, current favourites and movies that I kinda like a lot but don't really love. One day when I sort out my rating system I'll try and order these properly, but for now it's chronological.
Also, I've not seen a lot of these since I was young and it's possible I would not still like some of them.
You can see my ranked lists from each year here, if you are interested: http://www.listology.com/mightysparks/story/ranked-lists-each-year
And I am also on iCM: www.icheckmovies.com/profile/mightysparks/
As of 12/05/12, I have seen 2851 movies.

A Collection of Movies that prominently features Guns for hire, Hitmen, and Trained Assassins.
Some are as black as oblivion -- maybe 1% comedy -- and others are a little more campy/true comedy, but needless to say, you wont find Tommy Boy on here (thats on my next list: top (straightforward) comedies ;) ). And some will overlap lists (like The Cable Guy and Monkeybone). Someday, as anally retentive as I am, I may break this list up into the three subgenres listed above, but for now theyre all going together.
You may not agree with everything on this list as far as "qualifying" as the list's title, and thats fine, I welcome comments, but please dont be a dick about it

It is not a "The greater to not so great" kind of list. They all are good in different ways.:)
This list may grow and change; however, there are some movies that are just wonderful. No matter the genre or era.
This list is an action-packed film involving crime thrillers.
Rank from from best to least.
This list does not includes crime-drama-thriller(e.g. Godfather Series, Shawshank Redemption, City of God etc.)

These are my favorite 160 movies that I have ever watched of my so far 24 year long life.
The films aren't in exact order though the rating does go down the further you go (ranging from 10 to 8). Why it isn't exact is because it I feel it impossible to directly compare so many different movies of different genres with entirely different qualities.
My plan is to eventually expand this list to 250 movies but I don't feel ready for that yet even though I have rated over a 1000 movies so far on IMDb.
I hope you'll like the list and that you will hopefully find something new to enjoy and please feel free to leave suggestions and comments!

A list of the greatest British films ever made - either filmed on British soil with British actors, or from British directors. Compiled from personal experience and personal opinion.
It's simple: this is merely a list of all the films I've watched. It'll be an ongoing project, meaning if you come across it on the site it will more than likely not be complete. I only say this because I don't want people responding with quips like "Why are you on a movie site if you don't watch movies?" You, imaginary sir, are a jerk.
Some movies are so unpredictable... So you got yourself thinking of them for years. Here are some of them in my humble opinion...
Here are some of the best movies i have watched over the period of time.It isn't in any order of rating, which i think would never be an easy task...
You are about to face the best movie list you have ever seen in your life. Sit tight in your chair, relax and don't freak out due to the high level of awesomness of this list and my own expertise. I rule knowledge, IMDb, YOU and some things far beyond the human mind. Brag. // STILL UNSORTED ....
Back again...on my back. I've built a suitable nest around me of soft blankets, sudafed packets, kleenex, oranges, pillows, and pj pants. And, of course, another stack of those flicks I'd always been curious about. Let the healing begin!
Crazy, out-there and weird films and TV - media to make your head hurt.
Films that deal with memory, identity, reality with drugs, time travel and body-swapping. In fact, movies that will make you question your sanity and/or that of everyone you come into contact with.
There are some on the list who appear again and again, so you can be sure that most films by Lynch, Jodorowsky, Cronenberg, Gilliam, Greenaway and Anger are worth tracking down for their strangeness, as are adaptations of works by people like Philip K. Dick.
This list came about from my search for the weirdest films, granted there are surrealist films on here but the bulk come from filmmakers going out and making the films they want to make. Without too close an eye on them from the studios and with apparently little regard for the audience's tastes (or sanity) they can sometimes hit moments of truly transcendental madness that can be better than drugs (or at the very least similar). Where you get that sudden suspicion that you might have gone mad and what you are seeing on the screen is really being projected from inside your head.
