Note that this list is describing the actor's quality as an action hero, and NOT in order of their overall acting ability. Hence you see world-class actors (for example Sean Penn) in quite low positions on this list when it comes to badassery.

The last five actors needs improvement or another solid action movie to prove their worth.

Action stars from the 90's or earlier. Although the Expendables movies have tried to capitalize on this idea nothing will compare to a movie starring ALL of these people. I had a debate with some people about my Expendables 2 Wish list. I don't think it was a good movie, nor am I running out to see the new one. It was the idea of having as many older action stars in one movie that I liked. So I am creating this list instead. This should've been the one I had posted first. T thought it might be interesting to make a list of what one would call B-list actors and actresses, the type that rarely are in Academy Award type pictures but churn out the "quick to DVD type movies, often doomsday, horror and cheap sci-fi. I am sure there will be lot's of disagreements and I welcome any disagreements as usual. Let the fun began....I'll try to list them by popularity as opposed to most to least talented.

The current top list of Martial Artists that are currently alive and kicking butt. Ranked from top to bottom. It's not bad if an actor or actress I mentioned is on the bottom of the list, it's just a preference for me to put it that way, so there's no particular order.

Also The expendables discover a conspiracy to kill a politician John Archland (John Travolta) But is Ivos Vilain all behind that. You seet it in The expendables 3.

Some of them have sexiness that surpasses looks or vice versa. It is up to you to decide. I am not breaking people down into ratings or levels, nor am I going to rate them as people. I love them all. I would value any time spent with any of them. They are all beautiful, sexy, and wonderful in their own way, even if they all don't fit into your ideal of the "pefect" guy. Keep that in mind while viewing my list. I have no specific type, just many types...

Since the 86th annual Academy Awards is upon us, I thought I pay a tribute to the actors and actresses who deserve honor mentions for their outstanding performance. Sometimes, it seems unfair that the Oscars overlook the performers who receive rave reviews for their acting performances. I dislike when the media says there are Oscar buzz for the actors and actress; then, a few months later the performers do not receive any nomination, which can be quite disappointing and frustrating to the performers and the fans.

List is mostly unordered for now since I added actors as I remembered them. I'm still adding some actors

Note: This is a list of people that I've ACTUALLY SEEN FIGHT in movies and feel like they deserve to be on the list based on their skill level. For example I don't feel David Carradine deserves to be on this list. There are may other martial artists better than him.

first we'll start out with the obvious and then make our way down to the new people.

Actors and actresses winners of the Volpi Cup in the Festival of Venice.

This is my attempt at rounding up every actor/actress who has portrayed a superhero. Only superheros/sidekicks count for now, not villains unless they started off as a hero and made a villainous turn. The list is huge and extensive and I'm probably missing quite a few so I'm more than willing to take comment suggestions at whoever I have missed. I'm also not sure whether or not to include TV movies or straight to DVD films yet, and I have not yet including TV series actors besides George Reeves and Adam West because both their series' got larger TV specials or movies. So again please tell me who I am missing. I will add TV series' later on.

In no particular order, these are some of my favorite actors. I believe acting requires more than just good looks and even though some of these men are attractive, I admire them for their talent, charisma and portrayal of emotion on screen.

In order to qualify, you must be either:
A.) A great actor who regardless of what you're in gets the job done.
B.) An unintentionally hilarious actor who's so bad at their job (i.e. Tommy Wiseau).
C.) An excellent riffer who can sync up their audio with a bad movie making it an newborn classic! (i.e. MST3k, Cinematic Titantic, RiffTrax, YouTube parodies-reviewers)
or
D.) Be the type who's always winking at the camera to indicate what a bad movie this truly is, gaining respect points for being in on the joke.

I made exceptions to Sean Connery, Mickey Rourke, Eddie Murphy, Harrison Ford, Halle Berry, Liam Neeson, Hugh Jackman, Jeff Bridges, Jackie Chan, Owen Wilson, Mark Wahlberg, Patrick Stewart, Colin Farrell, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Bill Murray, Johnny Depp, John Saxon, Anthony Michael Hall, Vin Diesel, Ben Affleck, Gerard Butler, Yaphet Kotto, Robert Downey, Jr., Ben Kingsley, Dominic West, Anthony Anderson, Bill Nighy, Brad Pitt, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Elizabeth Banks, Ron Perlman, Gary Busey, John Travolta, Cate Blanchett, Eric Bana, Clint Eastwood, Demi Moore, Charlie Sheen, Tom Cruise and a few others who regardless of their talent often sink down along with the movie IMO when it starts to blow chunks but most of these who I mentioned still rock!

We all admire our Stars of Action, they're the highlights of the package, sure but how about the ones who end up ensuring said star's safety, star in low-grade/maintream material and are truly natural pros at said material?

The various a$sholes, morons, d!ckheads, sh!tbrains, lowlifes and D-listers who deserve nothing but pity, shame and unemployment. Here are people who are worthy of such descriptions and who any normal person could agree needs to be made fun of for America's enjoyment!


Please note that while I added some people who have been liked by some (just like previous Roastees Shatner, Roseanne, Leary, etc), I'm mainly going for the ones that I often hear come up in conversations and would provide for well-deserved no-holds-barred laughter. There are also people who've had ups and downs throughout their careers but are still respected listed here.

Plot: "One Million U.S. Dollars. That was the price put on the head of each of The Expendables. Carter "The Bull" Burdett (Dwayne Johnson), Rick "Stone" Miller (Vin Diesel), Jack Thorne (Nicolas Cage) and Chen Wu (Jackie Chan) are recruited and together with Christmas and Fuentes they begin their search to track down and kill Marcus Roman and his team with the help of Church (Bruce Willis), Trent Mauser (Arnold Schwarzenegger), the "original" Expendable (Clint Eastwood) who started and led the team before retiring years ago and started living as an isolated recluse and Lacy's father (Harrison Ford) who is a top notch, well respected ex-military officer who's feelings towards Lee are mixed since first meeting him. But they soon learn there is far more going on then they realize and the true motives of the man (John Travolta) who originally placed the price on the heads of The Expendables are revealed and alongside him is a tough and brutal high ranking rogue CIA operative (Gina Carano) as his lethal bodyguard. In a race to stop an unthinkable plot, old friends and enemies will re-emerge to fight an epic battle to the death."

As much as I love Wiliam Shatner, Adam West, Richard Roundtree, Bruce Boxleitner, Frank Vincent, Joe Estevez and Clint Eastwood, they're going to have to pass this time due to their age.


Either way, I allowed 12 people per army as it's only fair with the film having: Sly, Statham, Li, Crews, Couture, Dolph, Rourke, Norris, Yu, Hemsworth, Willis & Schwarzenegger.
