Personal Ranking for the MCU Movies:
My opinion only, no point in convincing me otherwise. Since I alone will judge if one movie is better and more enjoyable than the others in this list, for me anyways.

- DirectorJon FavreauStarsRobert Downey Jr.Gwyneth PaltrowTerrence HowardAfter being held captive in an Afghan cave, billionaire engineer Tony Stark creates a unique weaponized suit of armor to fight evil. The one that started it all and my personal favorite among all these comic book movies. Biased? probably.
Nevertheless, this is still a pretty solid film all around and that's not even my personal opinion anymore. Then coupling that with an outstanding lead(huge, HUGE kudos to RDJ), it just absolutely killed it for me. - DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris HemsworthMark RuffaloThe Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe."This has truly been Marvel Studio's Avengers: Infinity War" - Quote from Avengers: Infinity War
Mike Stoklasa from RedLetterMedia has the perfect description for this movie, being that "It's like a tackle box of Marvel fun". IT ALSO TOOK 10 YEARS TO MAKE! - DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansMark RuffaloAfter the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos' actions and restore balance to the universe.Part of the journey is the end.
Followed this franchise since the beginning when I was a kid, roughly 10 years old with my family watching the first Iron Man. It may not be the perfect movie and it certainly has its faults but damn, the emotional investment I have in this so called "product" is just too much that it's almost a non-factor for me. Especially since they handled these fictional characters well and consistent throughout the years, even giving them a proper send off, a feat most franchises couldn't even achieve or do properly. Bravo Nola- err, I mean Russos and Marvel Studios.
This is how you make and end a cinematic universe(for now). This is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. - DirectorJames GunnStarsChris PrattVin DieselBradley CooperA group of intergalactic criminals must pull together to stop a fanatical warrior with plans to purge the universe.Fun isn't something one considers when rating movies. But this... does put a smile on my face.
It's a movie that I would rewatch a dozen times a week and would probably not get tired by it.
January 16, 2019 Update: Got a little tired of it after a hundred or so times watching it.
March 11, 2019 Update: Lowered the score by -0.1. It's now tied with The Winter Soldier. - DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsChris EvansSamuel L. JacksonScarlett JohanssonAs Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world, he teams up with a fellow Avenger and S.H.I.E.L.D agent, Black Widow, to battle a new threat from history: an assassin known as the Winter Soldier. The Captain America movie we deserved and absolutely needed.
If this movie needed a secondary title, I think the Honest Trailer for this nailed it right in the head with "Captain America: He's cool now". - DirectorTaika WaititiStarsChris HemsworthTom HiddlestonCate BlanchettImprisoned on the planet Sakaar, Thor must race against time to return to Asgard and stop Ragnarök, the destruction of his world, at the hands of the powerful and ruthless villain Hela.Taika Waititi saves the Thor movies by making the most blandest franchise in the MCU(before Ant-Man) into a crowd-pleasing comedy...
And I love him for it. - DirectorJoss WhedonStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansScarlett JohanssonEarth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.Marvel's Magnum Opus.
- DirectorJon WattsStarsTom HollandMichael KeatonRobert Downey Jr.Peter Parker balances his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens with his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man, and finds himself on the trail of a new menace prowling the skies of New York City. The overall best Spider-Man movie since Sam Raimi's first two Spider-Man films and in my opinion, the best adaptation of the character on the big screen.
- DirectorJon WattsStarsTom HollandSamuel L. JacksonJake GyllenhaalFollowing the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever. With great power comes great responsibility, but you shouldn't entrust a gun to a toddler anyways, so that was kind of weird to me.
Otherwise, a really good movie overall and another solid entry from the MCU, especially the one that people needed after Endgame. And also, shout outs to Jake Gyllenhaal for his spectacular portrayal of Mysterio, easily the best version of the character I've seen in any form of media whatsoever. But what about the illusion scenes said character is known for? well... they were phenomenal to say the least.
Personally, I think it's the best live-action Spider-Man movie in the last decade or so, quite a fun and exciting film to watch. - DirectorJames GunnStarsChris PrattZoe SaldanaDave BautistaThe Guardians struggle to keep together as a team while dealing with their personal family issues, notably Star-Lord's encounter with his father, the ambitious celestial being Ego.This movie in a nutshell: You get a character arc! and you get a character arc! EVERYBODY gets a character arc!
It's missing some of the magic that made the first one really great and some of the humor didn't stick with me as much but this is still a pretty solid film overall. James Gunn really cranked up the character development and interactions here up to eleven, it's as emotional as the first one as well, if not more. - DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsChris EvansRobert Downey Jr.Scarlett JohanssonPolitical involvement in the Avengers' affairs causes a rift between Captain America and Iron Man.The true Avengers (2012) sequel.
- DirectorScott DerricksonStarsBenedict CumberbatchChiwetel EjioforRachel McAdamsWhile on a journey of physical and spiritual healing, a brilliant neurosurgeon is drawn into the world of the mystic arts.As weird as the lead actor's name.
It's basically the first Iron Man movie but with magic and a "bizarre" reference in the end. - DirectorShane BlackStarsRobert Downey Jr.Guy PearceGwyneth PaltrowWhen Tony Stark's world is torn apart by a formidable terrorist called the Mandarin, he starts an odyssey of rebuilding and retribution.A satisfying movie for the most part, even though some might argue that the "twist" reveal was subpar but it didn't bother me that much.
Not as good as the first Iron Man movie but at least it's an improvement from the previous one. It's more of a character-driven movie than anything and that's probably why I have a soft spot for it, despite its flaws. - DirectorJoe JohnstonStarsChris EvansHugo WeavingSamuel L. JacksonSteve Rogers, a rejected military soldier, transforms into Captain America after taking a dose of a "Super-Soldier serum". But being Captain America comes at a price as he attempts to take down a warmonger and a terrorist organization. What I thought of America when I was younger.
The movie was cute and from my experience, I enjoyed it more than I got bored by it. Which sadly did happen when the movie reached the ending of its third plot point and I was starting to get tired of it. Though, still a fun film with some heart. - DirectorRyan CooglerStarsChadwick BosemanMichael B. JordanLupita Nyong'oT'Challa, heir to the hidden but advanced kingdom of Wakanda, must step forward to lead his people into a new future and must confront a challenger from his country's past.Really tried to enjoy this film as much as most people did but I already made up my mind about it, though I still liked a decent part of it. Basically felt I was rewatching Wonder Woman again, given how I was unenthusiasthic about a lot of things in that movie as well, if not more.
Has things of quality for sure but for the most part, I was quite indifferent throughout watching it, even after thinking about it for a while. Rather indecisive if I'll give this a rating of 6, or judge it on how it's crafted as a film that's delivering a message and disregard my own rating system, which is mostly based on my personal enjoyment to said movie, thus giving this a higher score. Currently, I lean on the former. - DirectorKenneth BranaghStarsChris HemsworthAnthony HopkinsNatalie PortmanThe powerful but arrogant god Thor is cast out of Asgard to live amongst humans in Midgard (Earth), where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders.Somehow enjoyable, but somewhat bland as well.
Tom Hiddleston's stellar performance as Loki(Hopkins' Odin is quite engaging as well) and some noteworthy scenes saved this movie from reaching the levels of mediocrity. - DirectorPeyton ReedStarsPaul RuddMichael DouglasCorey StollArmed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, pull off a plan that will save the world.Paul Rudd wants to do a Superhero movie: The Movie.
- DirectorAnna BodenRyan FleckStarsBrie LarsonSamuel L. JacksonBen MendelsohnCarol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. It felt like I was watching Rogue One again.
For being the most politically controversial movie this year currently(a f*cking superhero movie, yikes America) and yes, I know it sounds crazy for you sane folk. And to be honest, this film isn't even that good or bad either, albeit some of the editing needed more work. It's just... out there in the MCU overall. It's nothing special, but I think fans of the franchise can appreciate this movie for what it is, the ones who actually saw it I mean. - DirectorJoss WhedonStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansMark RuffaloWhen Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it's up to Earth's mightiest heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plan.Sequel Problem Syndrome.
Watchable but not nearly as good as the first one. - DirectorJon FavreauStarsRobert Downey Jr.Mickey RourkeGwyneth PaltrowWith the world now aware of his identity as Iron Man, Tony Stark must contend with both his declining health and a vengeful mad man with ties to his father's legacy.^Ditto.
- DirectorPeyton ReedStarsPaul RuddEvangeline LillyMichael PeñaAs Scott Lang balances being both a superhero and a father, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past. This is basically set-up fodder for the next Avengers film.
Has some stuff that the general audience would enjoy and hardcore fans to appreciate but for the most part, this movie was just a whole lot of nothing. And I was a tad bit disappointed that I expected more from it than just a passable sequel. - DirectorLouis LeterrierStarsEdward NortonLiv TylerTim RothBruce Banner, a scientist on the run from the U.S. Government, must find a cure for the monster he turns into whenever he loses his temper. Not counting the Hulk scenes, this movie would've been incredible... incredibly boring.
This film would've been better if the characters were interesting or at the very least, likable in some regards but they just make me want to fall asleep. Other than that, this is the most "stuff pop-corn in your face while staring mindlessly to the screen" movie the MCU ever has. Though in of itself isn't a bad thing considering this is a Hulk movie and the only thing you really have to get right is him smashing stuff, which the film delivered at least. - DirectorAlan TaylorStarsChris HemsworthNatalie PortmanTom HiddlestonWhen the Dark Elves attempt to plunge the universe into darkness, Thor must embark on a perilous and personal journey that will reunite him with doctor Jane Foster. The most bland and forgettable movie of the MCU.
It's not bad per se, but it's skippable for the most part. The only noteworthy stuff here is its promising yet predictable ending, and if you want to learn the certain plot device this has for the upcoming films.
