It wasn't too confusing but it did a fantastic job of getting me invested and paying my full attention. Cloud Atlas is a film that will go down in my favorite films of all time.

So precise and information heavy. It was nonpolitical but was journalistic instead. Which was the best approach available. Katherine Bigelow deserved a nomination.

Walking out I said to myself "that might be the best movie of the year." Of course it was October and I hadn't seen a few of the movies that I liked more. Nonetheless I am happy for Ben and his win.
