- DirectorWilliam HeinsStrathford HamiltonStarsParis HiltonSimon RexPaula GarcésAt South Beach University, a beautiful sorority president takes in a group of unconventional freshman girls seeking acceptance into her house.Paris Hilton is not a singer (well, she did produce ONE crappy music video), but her movies are SO terrible, she had to be on this list -- at #1!
- DirectorVondie Curtis-HallStarsMariah CareyEric BenétMax BeesleyA young singer dates a disc jockey who helps her get into the music business, but their relationship become complicated as she ascends to super stardom. The only movie where Mariah Carey turned in a MEDIOCRE performance, was "Wise Girls"; the rest of her movies were plain UNWATCHABLE -- "Glitter" being the worst.
- DirectorMartin BrestStarsBen AffleckJennifer LopezJustin BarthaLarry Gigli is assigned by a crime boss to kidnap the brother of a prominent district attorney. A beautiful woman known only as Ricki is sent to stay with him to make sure he doesn't mess up the job. This movie is OUTRAGEOUSLY bad. We all know that Jennifer Lopez can't act (not that she can sign particularly well, either), but this is simply ridiculous. Why would anyone - even J.Lo - want to be associated with this embarrassment? Come to think of it... pretty much EVERY movie J.Lo has been it, was an utter flop.
- DirectorTamra DavisStarsBritney SpearsAnson MountZoe SaldanaThree childhood friends embark on a cross-country adventure to pursue dreams they once put aside, taking risks that are sure to change their lives forever.Britney Spears is a strong performer (with a weak voice), but she is HOPELESS at acting. This movie is lame in general and the supporting cast are useless also, but Britney Spears's presence makes it unbearable.
- DirectorScott MarshallStarsJessica SimpsonLuke WilsonRachael Leigh CookA young professional woman (Simpson) unwittingly becomes the pawn of two business executives in their bid to oust the head of a mega-conglomerate.Wow, where do you even start with this "movie"? It's an utter failure in every imaginable way. Jessica Simpson's performance is simply atrocious. You'd think she'd be well-placed as a dumb blonde hick, but no - she can't even pull off playing her own self.
- DirectorRussell MulcahyStarsMilla JovovichAli LarterOded FehrSurvivors of the Raccoon City catastrophe travel across the Nevada desert, hoping to make it to Alaska. Alice joins the caravan and their fight against the evil Umbrella Corp.I can't believe someone invited Ashanti to act after her p***-poor performance in "John Tucker Must Die" -- and alongside the talented Milla Jovovich? I'm a fan of the "Resident Evil" franchise, and even though Ashanti's role here was minor, her embarrassingly pathetic performance ruined this one entirely.
- DirectorSteven E. de SouzaStarsJean-Claude Van DammeRaul JuliaMing-Na WenIn the midst of a civil war in South East Asia, a general intensifies the climate of violence by kidnapping 63 UN delegates. To free the hostages, a colonel leads a group of fighters, who will have to use all their skills to be successful.Kylie Minogue is a rubbish singer; I can't stand that annoying voice and bubblegum pop (anthems for dumb blondes) she produces, but it isn't half as bad as the torture of watching her act...
- DirectorPeter BergStarsAlexander SkarsgårdBrooklyn DeckerLiam NeesonA fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals. There are several reasons why this movie was nominated for SEVEN Razzies! And one them is Rihanna's ultra-crappy performance. She is painfully unconvincing and lame in her role. Plus, her presence is really out of place here. Her character serves no purpose to begin with, and her presence does the movie NO favours whatsoever.
- DirectorDavid KelloggStarsVanilla IceKristin MinterNaomi CampbellA rapper gets stuck in a small town and falls for a local girl whose family is in witness protection. This is not really a movie. It's on par with Paris Hilton's vanity projects -- they aren't movies, but rather one-and-a-half-hour long infomercials for a vain a***hole's ego. And this is essentially what "Cool As Ice" is. It's not a movie; it's Vanilla Ice's ego trip. It goes without saying that watching this guy act is as painful as listening to him sing.
- DirectorRobert IscoveStarsKelly ClarksonJustin GuariniKatherine BailessA waitress from Texas and a college student from Pennsylvania meet during spring break in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and come together through their shared love of singing.I think the fact that it features two reality show contestants (Justin Guarini and Kelly Clarkson from "American Idol") is all that needs to be said about this movie. It did pick up a Razzie, and is generally considered one of the worst musicals ever made. Rightfully so.
- DirectorJim SheridanJim SheridanStars50 CentJoy BryantAdewale Akinnuoye-AgbajeA tale of an inner city drug dealer who turns away from a life of crime to pursue his passion of rap music.Granted, 50Cent was not quite as bad as Vanilla Ice, but he was nevertheless pretty s***, as was the movie itself.
- DirectorTroy ByerStarsNick CannonChristina MilianJordan BurgA high school loser pays a cheerleader to pose as his girlfriend so he can be considered cool. This "ghetto" remake of the classic "Can't Buy Me Love" was simply godawful. Christina Milian is nice to look at, but it is excruciating to watch her act. She isn't a particularly good singer, either. But, as an actress, she is just barely above Paris Hilton. Nick Cannot, on the contrary, is very good. He is the sole reason this movie was somewhat bearable.
- DirectorJulie Anne RobinsonStarsMiley CyrusLiam HemsworthGreg KinnearA rebellious girl is sent to a Southern beach town for the summer to stay with her father. Through their mutual love of music, the estranged duo learn to reconnect.Urgh, anything with Miley Cyrus is just crap. This was no exception. She should stick to singing. No, not really, her singing isn't much better. Or maybe just go to college or something and learn a practical skill. I think she is kind of ugly. Her very face is annoying, not to mention when she tries to act. The fact that the movie itself is lame as a** doesn't help matters a lot.
- DirectorJohn SchlesingerStarsMadonnaRupert EverettBenjamin BrattAbbie, tired of failed relationships, has a one-night-stand with her gay friend; they agree to raise the resulting baby together. One word: Madonna! Has she ever been in a good movie? Exactly!
Well, I would make an exception for "Swept Away" as I quite liked her in that, but, generally, Madonna is not that good an actress -- to put it very mildly. And, let's face it, this movie was just sucky, with out without Madge. - DirectorRonny YuStarsRobert EnglundKen KirzingerKelly RowlandFreddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees return to terrorize the teenagers of Elm Street. Only this time, they're out to get each other, too.I actually liked this movie (being a Freddy fan), but what on earth was Kelly Rowland doing in it? I mean, it was painfully obvious that she is FAR too old for the part. I don't know how old she actually was when she did this movie, but she looked in her late 20s -- playing a teenager. Even though her part was minor, it was still distracting due to her poor performance and horribly out-of-place physical appearance.
- DirectorMichael RymerStarsAaliyahStuart TownsendMarguerite MoreauIn this loose sequel to Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994), the vampire Lestat becomes a rock star whose music wakes up the equally beautiful and monstrous queen of all vampires. Now everyone's saying that this movie was a masterpiece (because Aaliah is dead), but, let's face it, - it was crap. Her performance was sub-par and the movie itself was an incoherent mess. Sorry, but that's the truth.
- DirectorMick JacksonStarsKevin CostnerWhitney HoustonGary KempA former Secret Service agent takes on the job of bodyguard to an R&B singer, whose lifestyle is most unlike a President's.I didn't hate this movie; it was actually more or less watchable, but it doesn't alter the fact that Whitney Houston is a no-good actress. She plays an obnoxious, arrogant, full-of-herself, unlikeable diva (a.k.a. herself), and doesn't even do a particularly good job at portraying her own self -- too self-conscious and uncomfortable in front of the camera. Plus, zero chemistry between her and Kevin Costner. Her wooden performance was the sole reason why this movie was not as enjoyable as it could've been.
- DirectorGurinder ChadhaStarsParminder NagraKeira KnightleyJonathan Rhys MeyersTwo ambitious girls, despite their parents' wishes, have their hearts set on careers in professional football.Shaznay Lewis has a minor part in this movie. Who's that, you ask? Yeah, I know. Not really a singer. She was in a crappy British girl band called "All Saints" for a while. Long over, though. Her performance here was awkward and kind of embarrassing to watch. Thankfully, it did not spoil the movie much, although, obviously, it could do without her cameo.
- DirectorJay RoachStarsMike MyersBeyoncéSeth GreenUpon learning that his father has been kidnapped, Austin Powers must travel to 1975 and defeat the aptly named villain Goldmember, who is working with Dr. Evil.Beyonce is a talented singer and performer, but, in my opinion, she should limit her performances to dancing only as she is bloody useless as an actress. Well, she is certainly better than the likes of Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, and Mariah Carey, but still... no Oscar-material for sure.
- DirectorAndrew LauStarsRichard GereClaire DanesKaDee StricklandA hyper-vigilant employee of the department of public safety, while training his young female replacement, has to track down a missing girl who he is convinced is connected to a paroled sex offender he is investigating.Avril Lavigne, the Canadian wannabe punk-rocker has a minor part in this. The movie itself is so rubbish that Avril's performance doesn't actually seem out of place. Particularly given the fact that the lead female (Claire Danes) is horribly miscast and turns in a p***-poor performance. Avril looks awful in this and, due to her apparent lack of acting abilities, I don't think she's going to be offered to act again anytime soon.
