- The Malice Green case was one of the biggest police brutality cases in the early 1990s. It was also one the most televised court cases on Court TV. This documentary goes through all the evidence and background from the perspective of Larry Nevers, the 27 year veteran of the Detroit Police Department who was sent to prison for 10 years on a second degree murder charge for killing Malice Green. Hear why so many involved in the case either don't want to talk about it or are under a gag order and not allowed to discuss this case.
- Patriot Plates searches for veteran license plates, then stops those vehicles and asks that veteran to share one story of their time in service. Our first episode features United States Army Veteran SSG Jason Wenk who was stationed in Iraq. While there, his Humvee is blown up. He is pulled from the wreckage and survives. SSG Wenk gives us a first hand account of his service to our country and what it means to be patriotic. During our interview we discover the SSG Wenk was never officially awarded the Purple Heart. Watch for extra videos of Patriot Plates, the Papago National Guard Base, the Arizona Military Museum, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, and our host Scott Huesing present SSG Wenk with his Purple Heart 17 years later.
