- While researching his next novel, Charles Condomine employs the services of a clairvoyant to see whether it is possible to contact souls in the afterlife. Unfortunately for Charles, the psychic summons the ghost of his dead wife, Elvira. It's soon clear that the morally untidy Elvira wishes to reunite with her husband, much to the dismay of Charles' new (and living) wife, Ruth. Widely considered to be Noel Coward's greatest work, Blithe Spirit treats its grim subject matter with gratifying frivolity, offering a playful look at what lies beyond the grave, and what happens when love comes back to haunt us.
- The writer Patricia Highsmith lives a reclusive life in the Swiss Alps surrounded by her collection of books and antique weapons. The unlikable genius facing the end of her life has withdrawn completely from the world, finding solace in her seclusion, her cats and cigarettes. Until one day a young man, Edward Ridgeway, intrudes into her place of refuge. He's yet another irritating delegate from her publisher demanding a contract for one final installment. Specifically another psychological thriller featuring her beloved muse and most famous literary creation, Tom Ripley.

- Shakespeare's fantasy comedy, play-within-a play that dwells on four interwoven stories; the union of Theseus and Hippolyta of Athens, the thwarted unions of Hermia, Lysander and their friends Helena and Demetrius, the tempestuous relationship between Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of the fairies and the rehearsal shenanigans of the Mechanicals, a group of Athenian tradesman hoping to stage a play for Theseus and Hippolyta's wedding - broadcast live from the State Theatre Centre of WA to cinemas across the country.
- The play's plot thrives on witty banter and the most improbable coincidences: the dandy Algernon and dapper Jack are best friends who, unbeknown to each other, both assume different identities in London and the countryside. When Jack proposes to Algernon's cousin, Gwendolen, and Algernon falls for Jack 's ward, Cecily, both do so using the pseudonym Ernest. Amid these mistaken identities and giddy confusion towers Gwendolen's mother, the imposing Lady Bracknell, as a paragon of Victorian propriety, who refuses to be anything but earnest.
- Duke Senior is exiled into the Forest of Arden by his brother Duke Frederick. The daughter of Duke Senior, Rosalind, is also banished. With her cousin Celia and court fool Touchstone, Rosalind goes into the forest disguised as a man called Ganymede. Meanwhile Young Orlando, who is hopelessly in love with Rosalind, also flees into the forest to escape his murderous older brother Oliver. There he meets Ganymede/Rosalind and seeks his/her advice on women. Not surprisingly, some deliciously witty and complex webs of love and deceit eventuate.
- A new version of Moliere's classic comedy of manners, set within a contemporary wealthy Australian family home. Orgon is a wealthy man attempting to come to terms with middle age. Fortunately for him, and to the dismay of his family, he meets Tartuffe, a supposed man of the cloth. Though everyone else can see Tartuffe for the fraud he really is, Orgon becomes obsessed with him, and it isn't long before Orgon is incapable of making a decision without him. The relationship initially appears to be harmless, however when Orgon begins promising Tartuffe his possessions, his home and even his daughter, Orgon's family resolves to expose Tartuffe for the swindler he is. Full of thumping English verse peppered with Australian vernacular and subversive wit.
