- Sapphire of the Valley follows a man who wakes up in a forest, an environment that is seemingly alien to him. He begins a journey through the forest following a mysterious loud cry. The cry is just one of the multiple ominous entities inhabiting the forest, which he discovers as he goes deeper into it. The film is an experimental portrayal of the anxieties of suddenly having to live as an immigrant. Attempting to examine the stages of emotions as the immigrant realizes that everything isn't as promised.
- A ballerina illustrates the process of spinal fusion surgery. This short film explores the resilience and strength of the human body through the medium of dance; it also considers the conflict between the brutality and grace of spinal surgery. It was commissioned by BBC New Creatives North. It premiered on BBC Four as part of Dance on Film: BBC Introducing Arts in May 2020. It has since been selected for New Renaissance Film Festival London 2020, Aesthetica Film Festival 2020, and Hebden Bridge Film Festival 2021. Anatomy of A Crooked Spine by Kate Morrison is a Tyneside Cinema production for New Creatives supported by Arts Council England and BBC Arts. The Producer was Naomi Ayres, the Executive Producer was Ian Fenton.
