- Broadway Bound LIVE follows 13 young Broadway hopefuls through a semester of musical theatre training and rounds of elimination to produce a single musical theatre champion. The winner will receive a renewable Director's Scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. In order to qualify, contestants must demonstrate financial need through FAFSA EFC scores. These 13 lucky contestants are given a dance, acting and vocal lessons in private and group settings for as long as they remain on the show. The four finalists will work with an all star team to produce a full length original musical to debut in front of a live studio audience and Broadway and AMDA Adjudicators.
