- A 14-year-old girl tries to protect her best friend Matic from school bullies, finds herself in online abuse, unites her family after her parent's divorce, and shows us we should always stand up and fight for the right thing.
- "Gaja's World" is a contemporary romantic family comedy with elements of a crime film. The story deals with the common problems of today's kids' life: separation of parents, alienation in the family, and the dangers of the Internet. With this we address both teens and their parents. However, we do not ignore the dynamics, humor, emotions, or suspense. The main character, 11-year-old Gaja, introduces her unusual family and the world in which she lives. After Mother's departure to Africa on the mission of the Doctors Without Borders, this world undergoes a significant change. Her father must learn how to take care of his daughters on his own. Gaja's sister Tea's teenage naivete' lands her in a world of online threats and crime, but clever, crafty Gaja can hand all the problems. Her best friend Matic, a computer genius, is always under attack from his more powerful classmates, but Gaja is not afraid of anyone. She proves that the weakest can be the strongest if the brains and the heart are in the right place. Despite occasional violations of the rules, Gaja's decisions match that cordial and sincere world that always touches us. Whatever happens, Gaja is not a passive observer: she always bravely takes matters into her own hands. The main message of the film is that the courage always brings the solution to the problem, and this is also the belief that every parent would want to transmit to his/her children.
- "Awakenings" is a story about the magical (and not so magical) moments when we wake up; at the same time it's about the mental awakening of our protagonists. The story revolves around three couples who have just begun their relationship, are about to end it, or never really began nor finished it. Robert (40) has just divorced and moved to his own place. Soon his student and lover Jana (23) moves in with him, although not entirely by his will. Jana quickly establishes her own way at home and Robert finds himself in a situation he doesn't know how to control. An established photographer Marcel (39) finds out that his wife Ula (39) got her pictures screened at a very important festival. As usual, he performs one of his typical cynical/sarcastic tantrums--but Ula doesn't respond to his methods anymore. Slowly (and painfully) the power shift in this relationship is tearing them apart. Jonas (39) and Karmen (39) meet at Marcelo's exhibition after 20 years. Their high-school flame burns once again, so they find themselves in a hotel room--and spend the night talking and sharing their old feelings and resentments. Nevertheless, with the morning comes the moment of sobriety, and Karmen returns to her family. In the last couple of scenes, our characters experience a whirlwind of emotions and situations that finally brings them all at the same place. But what is real and what is just a performance?
