- Quartet sings a version of the classic Dry Bones.
- The Delta Rhythm Boys perform the standard "Take the 'A' Train". They are dressed as a train conductor and train passengers in a train station, the conductor directing the passengers to the "A" Train. As the passengers board the train, the scene shifts to a Harlem nightclub in Sugar Hill, where the passengers continue the song backed by a female chorus. The song concludes back outside of the train.
- Crime kingpin Namgib hires thug Flattop to kill Tracy for $10,000.
- Tracy is kidnapped from his home by Flattop, who in turn tells Namgib he will kill Tracy if he is paid $50,000. Tracy escapes however, and takes Flattop out.
- Tracy and Catchem investigate a series of car thefts and discover a gang who specialize in changing the appearance and serial numbers of the vehicles they've stolen.

- The Mole shows Wheels to his underground printing press,to have him produce the counterfeit bills. But though being watched by Mountain, Wheels manages to switch the plates with two blanks before leaving.Enraged, Mole sends Mountain out to bring him and the plates back, but Tracy intervenes.
- With the law closing in, The Mole gets desperate, and petty crook "The Joker" tries to burn out the Mole's sensitive eyes so he can steal the plates, but fails. Mole retaliates by disguising himself and making try at killing Joker at his magic shop. Dick Tracy and the police force Mole out of his lair with smoke bombs.
- A rich woman has been taken advantage of by a phony swami with a crystal ball scam. He's also a master of hypnotism and blots out the woman's memory. Tracy runs down clues, and Sam Ketchum locates Swami's hideout, where he's waylaid and put in a room with a time bomb.
