- A film about the loneliness, despair and hope of six people who all live in a bleak Soviet-era apartment complex in Tallinn, Estonia.
- Kaiser, the lead singer of a former rock group won't put up with approaching old age and decides to call his old band members together. Kaiser's ambition is to return to the big stage with his buddies. Despite the initial resistance of other fellows, Kaiser will be successful, at least partly so. It is a fast-paced comedy full of humor and consolation, telling the story about people who despite all obstacles strive for their goal.

This film depicts with great accuracy how it is to feel love being an Estonian, someone who is used to low temperatures and repressed emotions.

- Tallinn mid 1990's. Winter. Carlos, a Colombian man in his mid 30's, comes to Tallinn to visit his old girlfriend, Sonia who's been living in Estonia for some time. He doesn't speak a word of Estonian and he looks ridiculous while trying to deal with the freezing temperatures and the circumstances surrounding Sonia's life. She has a relationship with Tarvo, an Estonian underworld boss and has adapted almost totally to the Estonian way of life. "How to kiss a dead girl" is a story of displacement, of failed attempts at reconnecting and of gaps in human communication.
