- Short surrealistic and experimental approach to the classic story.
- Dance film inspired by Paul Claudel's mimeograph Une femme et son ombre. A man dances with a woman who he loved dearly in the past. His pregnant partner confronts him with today. The characters dance in front of and behind a screen, on which they conjure increasingly abstract silhouettes.
- After unexpectedly meeting a princess on the way to a concert, a double bass player (Smytsjkov) completely loses the plot and fails to make it to his destination. The film is inspired by a short story by Chekhov. The accompanying music is performed live on stage by an ensemble of eight musicians that includes renowned bassist Quirijn van Regteren Altena.
- After a quarrel, a woman arrives on a waste ground. She meets characters who are disorientated. Following interactions, the characters get closer and they leave together.
