- When conditions are right, an infamous ice-skating race is held in the north of the Netherlands. The 200-km race must be completed by midnight and everyone who finishes receives a medal. This film is based on the facts of the fateful day in 1963 when thousands of skaters suffered frostbite and shocking injuries because of plunging temperatures and rough terrain. Only a small number would cross the finish line, but it would be a life-changing event for those who did.

- Bouke tells Tom and Mirjam about the legend of "Flying Volckert" who used to harass everyone in the village in the past. Together with their dog Snuf, Tom and Mirjam decide to investigate the story. Near the swamp they encounter gamekeeper Grevendonk who's caught in a bear trap and swears it was Flying Volckert. When inexplicable things start happening in the village, the village people decide to take matters into their own hands and together with the local police they start looking in the swamp.

- The family Verhoef have opened a Bed & Breakfast on their farm Vredehoeve where people can also hire boats. With one of those boats, 'De IJsvogel' (The ice bird) Tom, Mirjam and their dog Snuf go on a holiday whereby they visit local villages and markets. There Snuf notices the two boys Niels and Jimmy, who also have a dog, pickpocketing people. During a burglary the home owner sees two children and a dog fleeing the premises with a stolen boat and mistakenly suspects Tom and Mirjam to be the culprits. They are arrested by the police but manage to break out of the police station with the help of Snuf. Wanted by the local police, they set out to find the real culprits.
- Episode 15-17 "Botte Bile" Koos Zwiers is being thought to be the killer of his wife who was murdered with an ax. He lost his memory and doesn't know what happened. He asks the Dankert for help. A sudden twist happens when his son suddenly says that he did it.

Handsome, cocky farm hand Gerben Zonderland convinces himself the king is coming to personally decorate the local hero with the highest Dutch order, but the lady mayor meanly helps the rascal twins Hielke and Sietse treat him instead to a porcine surprise. Nosy mystery stranger Albert Verschuere embarks on their river boat, but his spying is sabotaged by an 'accidental' move landing him in the water. Commissioner Zwart reluctantly starts investigating an official but unlikely complaint of theft against Syrian refugee Tekeste, which can compromise his asylum status and thus see his kid in the twins' school Isaac and Aranchi expelled with him.
- The twins trust in the innocence of Syrian refugee Tekeste, who is arrested as theft suspect and risks expulsion with his kids Issac and Aranchi, which the Klinkhamers take in for now. Villagers are mobilized to prove his innocence before the may be expelled. The knaves' prank presenting a piglet to Gerben as a royal reward, with mayoral complicity, twists as he can't sell it to the butcher but turns it into a pet. Mister Verschuere is mysteriously obsessed by the Woudagemaal and reacts freaky when he learns the water work was damaged, not properly sbaotaged.
- Ministry official Hardebol finds Gerben Zonderland lacking of any official qualification, hence forbids him to run or even mind a farm, so Gerben and young helper Kees must come up with an informal trade-off. The town assembly brainstorms about the impending royal visit in honor of the Wouda water mill's centennial. Camping keeper Steef den Ouden incites the locals to remove the (thieving' Syrians first. Albert Verschuere's accomplice's copper theft didn't stop it functioning, which only sent constable Swart searching for the thieves, so Albert wants a more effective sabotage.
- The excited villagers gather for the first-ever visit of the King, who will open the photo exhibition after the musical, where farm boy Kees stars as tap dancer. Despite the mayor pressing constable Zwart to get on with the expo, he and the twins must concentrate on clues concerning the bombs hidden by Albert Verschuere in the centennial water works Woudagemaal where the exhibition is exposed. He and his cahoots have a detonation plan B from his yacht, so the only way to stop him is keeping that out of range with the Kameleon.
