- After witnessing his parents' assassination by Thakur Hakim Singh, Laakhan Singh, and Roshan Singh; Captain Zorawar Singh from the Indian army takes shelter in Gauri's house and consumes an unreasonable amount of alcohol. Years later, Shankar has grown up to be a police inspector and is on the lookout for Zorawar; he comes to the aid of a mechanic named Suraj Singh several times and befriends him, finding out that he owns a small garage and lives with his elderly mother Padmini in the Bombay slums. What Shankar does not know is that his friendship with Suraj will be short-lived: Suraj is the biological son of his enemy Zorawar, and Padmini is his wife.

Khurana's business have materialize into drugs and unlawful activities - with Amar defeating him in every step - he now become a thrown in Khurana's side who hires John to kill him. John accept the job along with a fat fee - this then re-unite him with the Sharmas which prompts him to join hands with Amar to bring Munjal Khurana to justice.

When Shankar finds out that Jai Kumar has been arrested for killing Kundan, he arranges his escape, and then subsequently goes to hunt him down. It is then Shankar finds out that Jai is Nisha's sweetheart, and decides to kill two birds with one stone, avenge his humiliation and the scar from the iron he still carries on his back, from both Nisha and her dad, and force Nisha to marry him - or else he will ensure Jai's arrest and subsequent conviction - a conviction which will lead Jai to the gallows. Sonu fell in love with Sheela.

- Rajesh Tripathi lives a poor lifestyle in a village in India along with his widower dad, Shivshankar. He leaves his father so that he can study in Bombay. While there he becomes a fan of singer and dancer, Neha, and even paints hoardings for her shows. During the holidays, he returns home to his village and gets a surprise when he finds that Neha has also re-located there. His overtures to become friendly with her end up in getting the police involved for alleged molestation. After clearing his name, Neha then entraps him to accompany her to an isolated shack and locks him there, which almost kills him. After this incident Neha does accept his friendship and confides in him that she can never sing as she has been poisoned by her former manager, Hari Saxena, so much so that her vocal chords have been damaged repair. Rajesh accepts the challenge and sets about to resurrect Neha's voice and her career - not knowing that both of them may end up being targets of Hari - who has planned a devious ending for Neha and anyone who supports her.

While Shambhu makes it clear that no jail can hold him too long, Vijay accepts this challenge and swears that he will capture and bring back Shambhu at any and all costs, and also promises to investigate the reasons behind Shambhu's crime and subsequent conviction.
- Suman Rai informs her wealthy brothers, Kedarnath and Sandeep of her marriage with middle-class, Shankar Kumar, the one her brothers rejected. An angry Sandeep then picks up a gun and headed for the wedding venue only to enter into fist-cuffs with Shankar which ended up leaving Sandeep dead. The police then arrests Shankar and places him before the court only to be given benefit of doubt and is acquitted. But Kedarnath refuses to have anything to do with Shankar where-by Suman moves in to live with Shankar and his younger brother, Karan. Years later Karan meets and befriend Neha; the daughter of Kedarnath. Their friendship eventually blossom to love. But how will they know that this relationship will only lead to complications as the father and brother will never accept their marriage.
