- Abdullah is a devout Muslim who lives in a small hut the middle of a desert in Persia, and looks after a well so that it provides water to thirsty travelers. One day a friend, Ameer, informs him that bandit Khaleel had raided a settlement nearby, killing everyone except for Yashoda, a pregnant woman. Shortly thereafter, Ameer himself is killed, a mortally wounded Yashoda gives birth to a boy, names him Krishna, asks Abdullah to care for him, and passes away. Abdullah overcomes his fears of bringing up a Hindu boy, and looks after Krishna as his own. Then Khaleel's Magician informs him that he is going to die at the hands of Krishna, just as Bhagwan Shri Krishna was known to have slain Kans, his maternal uncle, so also will Khaleel's life end at this Krishna's hands. Angered at this, Khaleel sets out to kill Krishna. He attacks Abdullah, abducts Krishna and readies him for a sacrifice, that will get rid of any threat against him. Will fate intervene to save Krishna, or will Khaleel succeed in sacrificing him?

Maanav meets with and falls in love with Kaajal Gupta, who is the daughter of the owner of Hercules Milk Foods, much to the chagrin of her dad who wants her to get married to Shyamal. Then one day Maanav disappears from Gopichand and Kaajal's lives. He re-locates to Simla and it is here that he learns that things have spiraled out of control as Gopichand has been arrested for marketing contaminated milk powder resulting in the deaths of hundreds of children. Maanav decides to return to Bombay and attempts to try and make sense why Gopichand committed this crime.

- Although India obtained freedom from the British in 1947, Goa and its territories are still ruled by the Portuguese. With Purandare's assistance they manage to escape, but they're shot. A horrified Ramdas watches Purandare shoot his father dead, and this is how he starts hating revolutionaries. Ramdas changes his name to Ronnie, befriends a girl named Julie, and grows up taking up crime as his career. He soon prospers and lets the villagers also prosper with him. Then when the Police Commissioner is shot dead, Ronnie helps the authorities apprehend his killer, a young man named Shekhar. He is arrested, tried in Court, and sentenced to be hanged. At this point Ronnie finds out that the people he assisted in the past are all against him and sympathize with the revolutionaries. Furious, he grabs a gun to kill Shekar's parents--and finds out who they really are and why Purandare shot his dad.

Years later Neera comes to visit her in-laws in a small town, and is introduced to a kind and saintly person with special powers for healing named Shradhanand. She is shocked to find that Shradhanand is none other than Vicky. Now Vicky will have to decide to run again, or kill this only witness, and continue living without any trouble for the rest of his life.

Watch closely as an enraged Sanjeev decides to find out what really happened after his accident, and the circumstances that made Sunil live with Sanjeev's wife.

When Raj lands at Tokyo, he misses his uncle, who has had a change in plans, and is now in Europe. Raj must re-book his flight to go to Europe. Raj finds that he has no money for an air-ticket, or to go anywhere. All he has is $8 American dollars, which will not even be able to buy him a meal in Japan, leave alone travel anywhere.

He volunteers to rescue a senior military officer, gets through enemy lines, and is shocked to discover that the senior military officer is none other than Major Bakshi. Both men know that only one of them can make it safely back to his base.

Three teams ended up in a tense foot race due to being held up in traffic on the way. In the end, one team was unable to catch up to the others and checked in last place, receiving the bad news of their elimination from Phil.

Once in Calcutta, all teams initially take part in a brick-making Roadblock. When it proves an especially rough challenge for one team, they try opting for the Fast Forward, only to balk when they find it invovles shaving their heads. Therefore, all teams participate in the Heavy but Short / Light But Long Detour, all choosing Heavy But Short. After pushing taxicabs with the help of locals for a half-mile, they make their way to the pit stop: Victoria Memorial. The last place team finds themselves giving up hope, but is greeted with a big surprise.
- Once in Lucknow, the teams all choose not to Yield each other and then do a Roadblock that involves searching heavy steel boxes for one of ten clues. Some teams get lucky and find them quickly, while one has a real time of it, but makes it out okay in the end. The teams face a Detour with a choice of Solid or Liquid. All teams pass on Solid, which involves smashing coal and instead choose Liquid, which requires them to make tea deliveries to five people at a local business. As one team lags behind, they receive a standing ovation when they reach the Detour clue. A surprise waits for the teams as they make their way to a location after they receive a clue telling them to meet Phil at the mat.

Reichen discusses how he quit the Air Force so he could be with Chip, Millie and Chuck talk about how they've been together for twelve years and are virgins, and Kelly and Jon say they got engaged right before the race. The teams are given $120 for the leg, which sends them from India to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, over 5,000 miles away. The teams jockey for position to get faster flights, with Jon and Al, Millie and Chuck and David and Jeff ending up at the front of the pack, despite an initial blunder by Reichen and Chip. David and Jeff and Kelly and Jon trail not far behind. The teams finally reach Malaysia, where, after participating in a traditional ceremony of good blessing, they head on to a Detour: Net or Trap.

All teams choose Trunk, requiring them to transport a large model elephant half of a mile to a temple, rather than Dunk, which would have required them to dye white sheets until they found a clue. Some teams do well by enlisting the help of others, but one team falls behind. Later, a Roadblock requires one member of each team to race a camel two laps around a course. As the teams then race for the Pit Stop one team makes a major mistake in navigation that could cost them the race.

Once completed, the teams made their way through Alleppy to Beach Road in order to find the next route marker. While others fell behind at the Roadblock, the leading teams found the next clue.
