- Beginning in 1.778, many spaniards went to Guinea to live a better life, to make a fortune. In the early 60s there were some 7.000 spanish civilians living there, thriving and living comfortably, a privileged class that did not exist back in Spain. By means of the different testimonies of Spaniards who live these circumstances in different positions (police's boss, a historian, citizens, the director of the only newspaper of the colony, among other), together with the testimonies of native Guineans, it will be possible to suggest the circumstances that happened during this period.
