- Crunch and Des are amiable partners in a sailfish sport-fishing operation. Lots of sailfish hooked up-action and humorous interaction with their customers.
- A revolution breaks out in a South American country while its cruel dictator is on a trip to France. The rebels have made careful plans to blow up the dictator's private plane as he returns, but at the last second he changes plans and travels on a commercial flight. The rebels then must make a difficult decision: they must either blow up a flight filled with innocent passengers, or else allow the dictator to return home and take brutal reprisals against the leaders of the uprising.
- A ghost and a guilty conscience make it possible for a man to avenge his brother's death.
- A bank clerk tries to prove that successful fishing is scientific.
- While on a fishing trip, Crunch and Des and their guests are detained by smugglers. A box of dynamite which happens to be aboard may afford them a means of escape.
- A small boy, frustrated by a lack of friends or attention from his businessman father, stows away on the Posieden, and soon becomes friends with Crunch and Des. They teach him some fishing skills, which he tells another kid, demonstrating with a rod he has stolen from the ship, only to lose it.
- A new charter captain is itching for a fight with Captain Crunch. Their first fight gets broken up by Mrs. Crunch. Later, Crunch and Des find his boat abandoned and adrift.
- To test some survival equipment, Crunch and Des set out in a raft floating near the Posiedon for a few hours. But when the ship's crew is asked to rescue some wreck survivors, they abandon the duo, who now face a dangerous storm and rough seas.
- While police search for killer jewel thieves, Crunch and Des land a strange fish that might be a valuable primitive coelacanth-like creature, but are unsure. Two college professors show up and decide it is and have it sent to their upstate lab, but suspicions soon set in when it's revealed as a modern day trout.
