Milo's partner is not amused to be landed with his priapic garden gnomes case. When Yusef appears in court badly roughed up by André's racist mates, he can barely convince Milo they did it despite him, or even the lawyer would have deserted him...

Mark runs away... Eva's lover Guido hears his ex and relentless stalker threatens to hurt Eva unless he gives in...

Then Koen finds out by accident his client is actually a 'transvestite' man, Wouter Whab, who uses his sister's identity to be close to his lover Leila, whose parents are conservative Muslims...

Eva defends Bo Rombouts, who claims her boyfriend Oliver Adams was fired by her dad, fashion designer Yves Rombouts, just for being her lover and holds a strike on her own without a trade union, dad says it's a fraud criminal...

Koen drove to hospital his wife Karin, who is high-pregnant of twins, but wants to name them after their parents, while he refuses to consider his philandering father's name Adriaan. There Koen takes the case of parents whose baby was still-born because the Moerbeek cheese-shop sold the pregnant mother Langres, wrongly claiming that French mold-cheese is made from pasteurized milk; Vermaet senior takes the defense, for once pro bono, and tells Koen his mother Madeleine was first to take a 'secret' lover before his affair with his -now former- secretary. Milo considers moving from Leuven (Louvain) all the way to Capetown, Lucille offers to return to the law firm and form a real family with him and their baby.
- Milo and partner are startled to hear Eva insists they take a bankruptcy case- because the mortgaged farm a bank is foreclosing on belongs to her parents, Gaston and Pam. For the bank acts her best friend since childhood, Josse, who makes them the offer to buy them out for 250,000 Euro. Milo argues the loan was an excessive amount, which should never have been awarded, and has an incriminating theory... Koen Vermaet, whose pregnant wife has set her mind on an expensive house, takes the case of Veerle, a girl who has had an excessive breast-enlargement and now wants her boyfriend at the time, car mechanic Patrick Stork, to pay for repair-surgery.
- Milo takes the case of former Dikhof insurance-employee Bernadette Van Goethem, who claims bullying at work ('mobbing') gave her acrophobia, so she couldn't keep working at a high floor and had to move to ground-floor level. Eva helps a woman teacher whose bared breasts at a pop festival were printed in a newspaper, causing her to be sacked by the Catholic school which couldn't accept such an immoral role model. Meanwhile Milo's partner Koen, whose pregnant wife is hell-bend on a larger house he cannot afford, is tempted to join his father's law-firm at a far higher pay, but without an idealistic streak.
- Milo accepts the case of young Thomas Van Damme and his Colombian wife Celina, who can't even pay his reduced rate, against insurance company Althea, which refuses to pay for Thomas's step-son Andreas's expensive hip operations in Houston, claiming they hid his condition when signing the policy; reluctantly, Koen accepts to assist him, even though his young family really needs paying cases. Eva accepts the case of a father who wants to stop his 19-year old daughter stripping, for her safety and his chances at promotion in the police corps. Eva bets with Milo she'll win, the loser must strip for the winner. At both trials, previously undisclosed facts cause remarkable twists.
- Milo tells his client Herbert Stevens, who considers divorce, that it has no winners and requires hard proof, probably from a detective, then learns the unfaithful wife is his former colleague Lucille Willems, who is his lover, but Stevens produces photos of her kissing Milo's partner, Koen Vermaet. Eva gets to defend blind rape-suspect Rob Van As, who claims his chat date consented. Koen Vermaet gets stuck by the vegetarian secretary's doing with the case of a man who financially adopted the turkey Isabelle at the Smulders farm and doesn't want it contractually slaughtered and delivered to him as Chistmas dinner ingredient...
- After his divorce client Herbert found out about his affair with the man's adulterous wife Lucille, his former employee, Milo is facing a board procedure. Koen, whose own adultery with their promiscuous ex-colleague may thus get known to his wife and meanwhile mother of their children, insists Milo must accept to be defended by his other intimate colleague, Eva. Koen, who is moving but has left that practically to his unamused wife, defends Herman Ram, who claims some illusionist tricks which were promised to him by his brother and former Magic Twins-partner Victor, but are refused by the widow Lut and about to be cremated, also according to written instructions by the deceased. Milo's case goes well, despite a new photograph, but not for Koen...
- After his wife Kato learned about his affair, Koen is thrown out of his new family home, so he takes his cue, suggesting to Milo they spend the small fortune of $1,000 each in one wild night, from client Tom Michielsen, who wants to bail out of a similar deal with former colleagues Bert Verstraelen and Marianne De Smet, who each in turn put up their entire $100,000 severance pay for a wild weekend after their investment banking division was closed down. Eva dates drawing artist Guido Ruelle, and accepts his defense when his ex Daphne charges him with stalking, while he claims it's the other way around.
- Milo defends school janitor Michel Clement, accused of downloading child porno in school; Clement's high-pregnant wife, teacher Gabriella, testifies, but schoolgirl Rosanna Maes seems to be the only one who knows the full truth, which is as sordid as surprising. Koen takes on his father's law firm, which sacked his client, secretary Annelies Bogaerts, for wearing in its posh offices the same sexy type of outfit -a mini skirt- as during her solicitation interview, considered unwisely provocative and diverting male colleagues' attention from the job. Eva takes a custody-alimony cases for dog puppies between the parent's owners.
