We'll have to wait until midseason to learn what happens next on Will Trent.
While these long hiatuses are challenging, we'll get almost double the episodes in Season 3.
Will Trent Season 2 ended with a cliffhanger that divided the characters and the audience when Will made a polarizing decision that affected one character's fate.
We don't know anything definite about Season 3, except that it will begin even more dramatically after that finale.
Will Trent focuses on two teams: the Gbi, which consists of Amanda, Will, and Faith, and the Apd, which features Det. Ormewood, Angie, Captain Heller, and Franklin.
Sometimes, the teams have merged to solve challenging crimes or because one of their own was in danger.
Amanda offered Angie a chance to switch from the Apd and join the Gbi, but that offer may be off the table now, and the teams may not be as amicable.

When you go into a craft like acting, where there are so many moving parts between the writing, the direction, and the overall production, making something that will shine for critics isn't always a guarantee.
That is unless you are the siren of the big and little screen that is Riley Keough, whose impressive body of work has earned her much well-deserved acclaim.
Seriously, search the actress and her filmography if you want to see what it's like to have critics foaming at the mouth for your next television or film role.
Before we go any further, let's go ahead and address the elephant in the room.
Yes, Riley Keough is the eldest granddaughter of Elvis and Lisa Marie Presley, so it should be no surprise that she did amazing as the titular lead singer in a miniseries about a band.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the Belgian directing duo behind Bad Boys: Ride or Die, are what people are really talking about when they speak of Michael Bay. In these dark days of anonymous blockbusters with no personality or pop, it is indeed common for people to wax nostalgic about Bay, wishing that Bayhem would one day return to American screens in its full glory.
It’s a weird sentiment though, and not just because Bay hasn’t gone anywhere. But it’s strange because Bay was a byword among film fans of the 2000s and 2010s: shorthand for grotesque messes that emphasized single spectacular shots over basic visual storytelling. When people remember Michael Bay, then, they remember not the actual Bay, but rather the idea of Michael Bay: fun action, striking images, and a sense of humor.
Adil & Bilall are the real deal, purveyors of the colorful, kinetic action that people want,...

Much to our chagrin, it was the last call for Station 19.
While the fight still rages on for anything more, Station 19 Season 7 Episode 10 provided closure for these characters we've come to love as best as they could manage.
Join Station 19 Fanatics, Elodie Mv, Heather M, and TV Fanatic Haley Whitmire White for one final round table.
Station 19 had the challenging task of wrapping up many storylines and arcs in under an hour. Do you think they succeeded?
Ellie: No. What exactly have they wrapped up?
All I think about that final episode is that everyone made it; they are all alive. In the last five minutes, we know that Andy is Chief and Maya is Captain. And the others? We don't know.
We know that Pru is a probie at 19 and that Travis and Vic go to D.C. It feels incomplete.
Heather: Ellie, I absolutely agree.

Like the other broadcast networks, ABC is being heavily impacted by the repercussions of the actors and writers strikes. Sandra Oh has come to realize that with great power comes great responsibility. Since wrapping up her run as Dr. Cristina Yang on the venerable ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy a decade ago, Oh has looked to champion stories that deconstruct and explore the nuances of Asian American identity.
Her latest TV project, The Sympathizer, which recently wrapped up its run on HBO, makes good on that promise. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Viet Thanh Nguyen and co-created for television by Park Chan-wook and Don McKellar, the seven-part limited series tells the story of a man known simply as The Captain (Hoa Xuande), a police captain for South Vietnam who has actually been working as an undercover agent for North Vietnam’s Communist regime for years.

We can probably all agree that this wasn't television's best season overall.
Between Hollywood strikes and filming delays, many shows ended up releasing condensed seasons with half as many episodes as normal.
Sadly, Grey's Anatomy was one of them. But the good news is that the groundbreaking medical drama has been renewed for a 21st season, and we have high hopes that it'll be a good one.
Originally airing in March of 2005, Grey's Anatomy has been on the air for a staggering 19 years.
The ABC hit has spawned two wildly popular spinoffs.
From 2007 to 2013, there was Private Practice, which starred Kate Walsh as her beloved Grey's Anatomy character Addison Forbes-Montgomery, and followed a team of doctors practicing medicine in Los Angeles.

Much later, Station 19 premiered in 2018.
This firehouse-based drama brought Ben Warren from Seattle across town to join a team of firefighters.

Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, recently had some business to take care of on Live with Kelly and Mark.
The long-time married couple uses the host chat at the show’s beginning to discuss marriage issues.
Not long ago, they bickered over Mark leaving the seat in the powder rooms at their home while Kelly was on a trip with her niece.
As Monsters and Critics reported, Kelly described the scene when she returned as chaos with “piles of laundry” everywhere and “every toilet seat” left up.
Kelly had another problem with her husband over the weekend, which caused her some issues, and she did not hold back as she chastised Mark.
Kelly is admittedly not a morning person, but when you have a hit morning show, a 4 a.m. wake-up call is hard enough without Mark changing things up in the bedroom.

The work of the Seattle Fire Department is dangerous and difficult, but so honorable that dozens of recruits want to earn the right to wear heat-resistant uniforms, drive big red trucks, and climb down the pole at the sound of an alarm. And one of these recruits is former surgeon Ben Warren.
After a tragedy involving victims of a fire he witnessed, Ben requested a transfer to the 19th Fire Station, where a well-coordinated team of rescuers was already working under the leadership of Captain Herrera. There is no time for long coordination with the rest of the team. Warren goes to the emergency calls as soon as he passes the first briefing – the fire will not wait.
Thus began Station 19, a spinoff of Grey's Anatomy that has become as beloved by fans as the original series. But all good things must come to an end (except Grey's Anatomy), and Station 19 just wrapped.

Station 19 might be officially over now, but that hasn’t stopped fans from begging another network to pick up the hit series.
The hashtag #SaveStation19 has been circling social media since ABC announced the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off was ending. It’s gained quite a bit of traction, prompting other viewers to join the movement.
So far, no networks have publicly shared their intent to revive the show. But if they did, the showrunners would be completely on board.

As yet, ABC has made not a peep about reversing its decision to cancel Station 19 following what was arguably its strongest season. Neither, for that matter, has the network seized the opportunity to launch a Crisis One spinoff. But if the Grey’s Anatomy offshoot were to be offered a new lease on life, Peter Paige and Zoanne Clack — the showrunners who raised the drama to a new creative zenith — wouldn’t just be on board, they’d be “100%” on board, Paige tells TVLine.
“Bring it on,” Clack adds.

Considering how much time Grey's Anatomy used to spend on the characters' relationships outside of romance, it's understandable that fans want to see it back. The show explored all the struggles of friendship, from the loss of a loved one to the hardest betrayal, and the show felt much more realistic that way.
Now that the friendships are very small and the majority of screen time is spent on rivalry, romance, or ex-feuding, the most loyal fans want and need to see the golden era of Grey's Anatomy return with some of the greatest friendships on television.
Owen Hunt and April Kepner
Though the two have never been particularly close, the few moments they shared ended up being the most genuine and wholesome of Hunt's entire presence at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Grey’s Anatomy Andrew Deluca’s sister, Carina, discusses his tragic death. Fans were devastated by yet another tragic death on the show. However, the actress who plays Carin Deluca recently spoke out about how she felt filming the scene. Stefania Spampinato recently went into detail on having to film the scene on a podcast. Keep reading to find out more about what she said.
Andrew Deluca Has A Tragic Death
Andrew Deluca was a loved surgeon on Grey’s Anatomy. Unfortunately, he had to die like a lot of other loved surgeons on the show. He was not the first heartbreaking death that fans have seen. However, it still hurt to watch just as much as the others. Andrew was trying to track down a sex trafficking kingpin. Unfortunately, he was stabbed while doing so. Carina found him and they took him to the hospital. Fans were hopeful that Owen and...

There are a lot of different medical dramas out there on TV, but few of them managed to become really successful and extremely popular among viewers. One of such dramas is, of course, Grey’s Anatomy. There’s hardly anyone who hasn't heard of Meredith Grey’s shenanigans.

To say that Grey's Anatomy is about the everyday life of doctors is to oversimplify the content of the show. The range of topics extends from in-depth conversations about family, which can bring tears to the eyes of even the most unsympathetic viewer, to intense action scenes involving the return of patients from the afterlife.
At the same time, none of the genres presented in the show can be called secondary or minor – every aspect of the narrative is 100% worked out. If it is a romantic relationship, then the creators will show you every crisis that the couple faces.
The characters of Grey's Anatomy, in addition to their immediate duties, do not forget about their personal lives. They flirt at work, have affairs, fall in love and break up.

Chris Carmack and his Grey’s Anatomy co-stars brought Kenergy to the set to celebrate the show’s season 20 finale.
The actors reenacted Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken” Oscars performance, with Carmack, who plays Dr. Atticus “Link” Lincoln in the ABC series, donning sunglasses, a faux fur coat similar to Gosling’s now-iconic white ensemble in Barbie, and a rainbow cowboy hat.
In a video posted to his social media, Carmack enlisted fellow stars Camilla Luddington, Natalie Morales, Jake Borelli, Anthony Hill, Kevin McKidd, Niko Terho, Harry Shum Jr. and James Pickens Jr for their take on the performance that took the Academy Awards for a storm. Together, they lip-synced the lyrics to the Oscar-nominated song.
Gosling performed the hit track onstage at the awards show in March, taking the stage with his fellow Kens, portrayed by Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa and more, in hot pink tails and top hats.

Joining him were co-stars Natalie Morales, Camilla Luddington, James Pickens Jr., Anthony Hill, Harry Shum Jr., and Kevin McKidd.
Pink hospital scrubs substituted for Ken’s faux fur coat, sunglasses, and a rainbow-colored cowboy hat as Carmack lip-synched Ryan Gosling’s vocals.
The series was recently renewed by ABC for a 21st season last month. Watch the performance above.

Sony Pictures Television is shuttering its TriStar TV banner.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that TriStar TV exec vp Jennifer Turner and senior vp development Nicole Norwood are leaving as the division is being folded into the larger Sony TV fold. No additional layoffs are expected to come as part of the move.
Reps for Sony declined comment.
The decision to absorb TriStar TV into the larger Sony Pictures Television fold comes at a time of industry-wide consolidation as streamers, networks and studios alike right-size their programming and staffing needs in an era of belt-tightening following the end of the Peak TV phenomenon.
TriStar TV’s mission was to champion diverse, authentic characters and underrepresented voices. Those values have since been incorporated into the larger studio, overseen by Katherine Pope, to whom Turner reported. Sony Pictures Television Studios’ drama department will now oversee the development of current TriStar TV projects.

Fans are dying to know if Ben Warren could be returning to Grey’s Anatomy since Station 19 has ended their series. Ben was first seen on the medical show as an anesthesiologist. He then married Miranda Bailey. Ben has been seen a few times on the show since he became a firefighter. However, now that Station 19 has ended, fans wonder if they could be seeing more of Ben Warren on Grey’s Anatomy next season.
Ben Warren Wants To Continue Medical Career
Ben Warren told his captain that he wanted to leave the station to pursue his medical career.
“Let me guess, you’re going back to finish your residency, no explanation needed, I get it. Look, you’re a great firefighter, but I know your love for medicine and helping people knows no bounds. We all have our calling.”
This made fans wonder if the door was left open...

Grey's Anatomy has never been a show for the weak. While there are plenty of medical cases where the doctors are helpless in the face of advancing disease, there is also plenty of interpersonal drama that never gets any better. If you're looking for sunshine and rainbows, this is not the show for you.
However, the drama quality can vary greatly. Some stories are relatable and compelling, making you root for characters who have the perfect chemistry to end up together. Others, created purely to fill screen time with some sort of storyline, are so boring that they're hard to watch and better skipped.
Will Grey’s Anatomy’s Simone and Lukas Get Together?
Back in season 19, Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital welcomed a new group of interns, including the bubbly and sweet Simone Griffith and Lucas Adams, Derek and Amelia Shepherd's nephew. It was pretty obvious that the show would develop them into their own characters,...

The concept of the limited series swept the TV world recently, and it felt like it happened overnight.
It is not an entirely new idea, as miniseries have existed since the time of radio dramas.
However, people lost interest in them at some point, and the era seemed to come to an end.
So much so that in 1991, the Emmy Awards merged Outstanding Miniseries with Outstanding TV Movie.
After numerous name changes to the category, the concept suddenly resurged -- the limited series was born.
With the popularity of American Horror Story, in 2015 they changed the category to Outstanding Limited Series.
TV Shows Should Make Stars, Not Depend On Them
But now, the idea carries almost no weight due to networks and streamers renewing the popular limited series and turning them into plain old series.

Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) has had many loves in her life. Over the years, Grey’s Anatomy has explored the character’s past and present partners. While her love story with Owen (Kevin McKidd) has always been a focal point of Teddy’s journey, fans have never quite forgotten Henry Burton (Scott Foley), whom Teddy married (and later fell in love with) in Season 7 so he could have health insurance. “It’s so interesting because I really feel like Teddy and Owen are the life partners, like ‘the one,’ right? But the relationship with Scott Foley’s character, Henry, was just absolutely incredible,” Raver told TV Insider as she looked back at Teddy’s relationships. “It was such an interesting moment because it really tells you a lot about Teddy. I mean, that was in a moment of, oh, he doesn’t have health insurance. I’m going to figure...

A decade ago, director James Ward Byrkit brought us a surreal, Twilight Zone-ish sci-fi thriller called Coherence (watch it Here), which JoBlo’s own Eric Walkuski gave an 8/10 review you can read at This Link. Now Deadline has revealed that Byrkit and It’s What’s Inside producer Kate Andrews are teaming up to develop a follow-up of some sort to Coherence! As Deadline notes, “Plot details are being kept under lock and key — including whether the new film will be a prequel, sequel, or a different story entirely.”
Byrkit crafted the story for the first film with Alex Manugian, coming up with the following set-up: Eight friends at a dinner party experience a troubling chain of events due to the malevolent influence of a passing comet.
Coherence starred Emily Foxler, who now goes by Emily Baldoni (Five Feet Apart), Maury Sterling (Smokin’ Aces), Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Seeking a Friend for the End of the World...

If Catherine had a mustache, she'd be twirling it.
The level of villainy she's devolved to has become cartoonish at best, but it particularly took the cake during Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Episode 10.
In an understaffed hospital still battling issues like burnout, she wiped out four award-winning surgeons or those highly valued in their field, and she's fixing to take down the interns and potentially Bailey, too.
Catherine is a Cartoonish Antagonist to Everyone at Grey Sloan
Is it worth it, Catherine Fox?
There's a limit to how petty one person can be, and she's surpassed that by a mile and a half.
Meredith was back to wrap up the season by blowing through Grey Sloan and imploding everything in her wake under the guise of self-righteousness.
But because she's Meredith Grey, we roll with it.
She likes to burn everything around her down and then bounce.
In some way, I have to respect it.

Exclusive: In 2017, Jason George left ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy to help launch its spinoff series, Station 19. For seven seasons, he was a series regular on the firefighter drama as Ben Warren while making frequent guest appearances on the mothership series. With Station 19 coming to an end, all signs point to him going back to Grey’s Anatomy, a return which the Station 19 finale helped set up.
According to sources, there is no deal in place and the exact capacity in which George would return to Grey’s Anatomy is unclear but talks are ongoing, and the intent is to have him back on the show where he has been since Season 6, including a series regular stint from S12-S14, before moving to Station 19. Reps for ABC and ABC Signature, which produces Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19, declined comment.
Rumblings about George potentially rejoining Grey’s Anatomy next season started in January.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Station 19 series finale “One Last Time.”] Station 19 has bid farewell after seven fiery seasons filled with epic action, beautiful love stories, and cherished friendships. In the series finale, which aired on May 30, the crew battled wildfires and a grisly fire tornado that put everyone’s lives in jeopardy. The final episode included flash-forwards during moments of crisis and showed viewers the characters’ potential futures. One flash-forward featured the return of a beloved character in a touching moment that brought Vic’s (Barrett Doss) story full circle. Below, Station 19 showrunners Zoanne Clack and Peter Paige opened up to TV Insider about crafting the series finale, if those flash-forwards are actually reality, and the future of the characters in the Grey’s Anatomy universe. Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers for “One Last Time,” the series finale of ABC’s“Station 19,” now streaming on Hulu.
For a show that spent most of its time putting its characters in mortal danger, it’s remarkable that “Station 19” completed its series finale with nearly everyone alive and well — except, of course, for Kate (Kiele Sanchez), the newest addition to 19 who never did quite manage to become a part of the family. Kate got sucked up into a fire tornado — a firenado, perhaps — becoming the finale’s only casualty. Despite injuries and burns and smoke inhalation, everyone else lived on to firefight another day, with visions of their bright futures dancing ahead of them. After years of dealing with the harsh realities of firefighting, they all got their happy ending.

Spoiler Alert: The story includes details about the Season 20 finale of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.
Over the past two decades, Grey’s Anatomy has turned season finale cliffhangers into an art form and, closing out its milestone 20th season, the venerable medical drama did not disappoint.
The last episode — aptly double entendre-titled “Burn It Down” as it takes place during a massive wildfire — served a couple of bombshells.
After the pregnancy false alarm in Episode 5, Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Link (Chris Carmack) agreed that they would want to have a baby one day. That day came far quicker than any of them hoped for: tests done after Jo fainted revealed she was pregnant, a fact she chose not to share with the expectant father, punting that conversation to Season 21.
Kwan (Harry Shum Jr.) also left us hanging with a bomb he casually dropped, revealing to Adams (Niko Terho) that a wildfire...

Bluey-mania continues.
The Disney+ series was at the top of Nielsen’s streaming charts with nearly 1.2B minutes viewed from April 29 to May 5. The new episodes that dropped the week prior surely gave it a boost, but Bluey is a mainstay on this list, racking up over a billion minutes pretty frequently.
In fact, Nielsen points out that Bluey has been in the overall Top 10 for well over a year now, and this marks its fourth time at No. 1.
It should also not surprise anyone that Grey’s Anatomy came in second place with around 1.1B minutes viewed. It’s unclear what is prompting this resurgence in the medical drama, since it’s been available on both Hulu and Netflix for quite a while.
Fallout fell to third place this week but still posted over a billion minutes viewed, which is quite impressive for the eight-episode Amazon series. It was No.

The Netflix special roasting NFL great Tom Brady made it onto the streaming charts for the week it premiered — despite it only being up for a few hours of that week.
The Roast of Tom Brady racked up 279 million minutes for the week of April 29-May 5, good for 10th place among original series in Nielsen’s rankings. The special streamed live on May 5, meaning it tallied those viewing minutes in under 12 hours. (With a running time of almost three hours, the 279 million minutes equate to about 1.6 million complete runs of the special.)
Bluey moved back into the top overall spot with 1.18 billion minutes of viewing on Disney+, adding to its total as the most streamed title in the United States so far this year (21.73 billion minutes and counting). Hey, "Grey's Anatomy" fans. We're back with another spoiler session for you guys. This one will be the last one for Grey's Anatomy's current season 20 because the next, new episode 10 is the finale episode. Yep, season 20 got cut way short due to all the Hollywood strikes of last year. Episode 10 is due out tonight, May 30, 2024. So, we're going to dig into it right now. We were able to round up 3, new, official teaser scoops for this new episode 10 via ABC's official episode 10 press release synopsis. The first thing it let us know is that episode 10 is officially titled, "Burn It Down." It sounds like episode 10 will feature some very intense, dramatic, action-filled, suspenseful, interesting and emotional scenes as a big wildfire hits. The ER gets overwhelmed. A very rash decision gets made and more.

Grey’s Anatomy has broken many hearts over its 20 seasons (and counting), but it’s also angered fans with how certain characters were written off. Realistically, no one wants to see their favorite character leave a show, but if it’s handled the right way, a good departure allows the legacy of the character to remain untouched.
While there are many factors that go into planning and handling a character’s exit, the final product can be hit or miss. Here are what we consider to be the worst and most unnecessary exits from TV’s longest-running primetime medical drama.
10. April Kepner
While April’s (Sarah Drew) departure in season 14 could be considered a “happy ending” for the character, it was deeply unsatisfying for viewers. She had apparently been dating Matthew (Justin Bruening), who she left at the altar, for months and didn’t tell anyone. That itself is surprising but...

Want to take an island vacation this summer? All six seasons of Lost are returning to Netflix in the US on July 1, giving die-hard fans and newcomers alike a chance to enjoy the mind-bending drama all over again. The series originally ran from 2004 to 2010, premiering just days before Desperate Housewives and a few months before Grey’s Anatomy. It became an immediate hit, and it all came from an executive named Lloyd Braun sitting on a beach in Hawaii, thinking of ways to turn his vacation into a TV show. Inspired by the Tom Hanks movie Cast Away and the massive, game-changing reality competition series Survivor, Braun came up with a title — Lost — and a vague concept of plane crash survivors and total strangers learning to survive together while leaving their pasts behind.

Are you ready for a classic Grey's Anatomy finale?
We're not new to this; we're true to it, so the only thing that won't be surprising from Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Episode 10 is that it's guaranteed that all hell will collectively break loose.
There's a strong chance we'll also be left with a cliffhanger.
It remains to be determined whether that cliffhanger only supports the notion that the series has become too reliant on formula.
But alas, it's one of the more fun aspects of this series, so the more drama, the better.
And we have a lot of drama in store for us.
It's a clash of the titans situation with Meredith and Catherine.
The former manages to rope a few people into her rogue research, while the latter throws all of her weight around.
This situation feels too eerily similar to Mer's nonsensical insurance fraud storyline during Grey's Anatomy...

Note that the new season was delayed until mid-season due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes of 2023. Because of the late start, the 20th season will be the shortest since the first season with only 10 episodes total. Behind the scenes, Meg Marinis has taken over as showrunner from Krista Vernoff, who departed after Season 19.

We’re now 20 seasons into Grey’s Anatomy. A lot has changed at Seattle’s most famous, fictional hospital over those two decades. But even as main characters come and go, the show that made creator Shonda Rhimes a household name has remained true to its interest in exploring a new feminine ideal.
From its first seasons to its most recent episodes, Grey’s Anatomy focuses on messy, sexy, brilliant, and accomplished women breaking intergenerational curses. It’s the ultimate millennial fantasy and while it’s unclear if that’s life imitating art or art imitating life, the fact is that Grey’s is a rich text on which to build an understanding of millennial women’s dreams and anxieties. It certainly has the ratings and longevity to merit a closer look.

Netflix is like a steak that looks succulent but feels rubbery when you bite into it. No, I do appreciate the many things we get to see on the platform. It’s provided global reach like no other, but, as it goes with big companies, once they get too big, they occasionally start to lose the plot. This is something that’s true for most Ott platforms, but specifically with Netflix, there’s a disparity in the content on the platform. This does not mean that dodgy content shouldn’t be available, and this has nothing to do with budget or who is in the films or shows; it’s more specifically about quality checks within each product itself. The Life You Wanted is a genius idea because it could offer so many moral questions and deliver an overall impactful experience. However, this particular series fails to impress despite its feisty leading cast,...

The MGM+ original drama series “Godfather of Harlem” has cast “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “How to Get Away with Murder” actor Rome Flynn as a recurring guest star during the show’s upcoming fourth season.
Flynn will portray Frank Lucas, a country boy from North Carolina who ventures to Harlem and, after initial friction with gangster Bumpy Johnson (Forest Whitaker), eventually rises to become Bumpy’s fiercest defender and right-hand man.
Academy Award winner Denzel Washington first portrayed Frank Lucas in the 2007 film “American Gangster,” which is loosely based on the criminal background of the real-life gangster who operated a drug empire in New York City during the late 1960s and early 1970s. In the TV series, the character’s story will begin ten years earlier than in the film.
