The boxer behind the lawsuit is Daniel Franco -- who claims he signed a deal with Roc Nation Sports back in 2015 ... and won his first 5 fights with Jay-z's company. Daniel Franco, where did you go? Not far, apparently, 'cause he's back -- again! The very first designer ever auf-ed from "Project Runway," only to be cut early in Season 2, must be hoping the third time's the charm in "Project Runway All Stars" Season 5.
Entertainment Weekly just shared the list of new "All Stars" designers, plus the guest judges, and the premiere date: Thursday, February 11 at 9 p.m. Et on Lifetime.
This cast raises some eyebrows for a few reasons. One, they included two designers from "Under the Gunn," which EW labeled "Season 12.5." (Did you ever consider that show Season 12.5?) Also, there's no one from this past summer's Season 14 -- no Kelly Dempsey, no Edmond Newton, no anyone -- and no "Junior" designers either, which they could conceivably add if they're going to consider "Under the Gunn" PR canon. (Just bad timing, perhaps, with the shooting of this season?)

If it were up to us, "Project Runway" would never be "out," it would just play on a loop 24/7/365.
Sadly, Season 14 will say auf wiedersehen on Thursday, November 5th, so now seems like a good time to take stock and rank the previous 13 seasons, with the expectation that the 2015 season will probably fall somewhere in the middle of the pack once it's done. (Tim Gunn "hated" Season 14, but there have been worse.) Every season of PR is a precious, unique little rhinestone, but, like the judges, we have our favorites -- and now it's Our turn to be biased.
So here's our very subjective but still definitive worst-to-best ranking, which may only be challenged by a glare from Nina Garcia, an eye roll from Michael Kors, a "make it work" from Tim Gunn, or an "out" from Heidi Klum.
13. Season 11 (aka 'Teams')Maybe it seemed like a good, or at least dramatic,...

In HitFix's new feature "Waxing Episodic," we reflect on an episode of television we'll never forget. I don't know a single person who believes "Project Runway" is at its best now, but the decade-old reality competition is still chugging along, and that's a remarkable feat for a show that peaked in terms of sheer entertainment value at the end of its first season. Yes, season one. Say what you will about the subsequent cycles, which have included some of the most hilarious contestants (Santino Rice, Laura Bennett, the loopy, lovable puppetrix Elisa Jimenez) and undeniable talents (Christian Siriano, Mondo Guerra, Leanne Marshall) in reality history, but "Project Runway" has almost always required trumped-up workroom drama to keep us coming back. Season three succeeded with the Jeffrey Sebelia cheating allegations and season eight offered up an irritating, intriguing teacher's pet in the form of winner Gretchen Jones, but the duller seasons...

First, The CW announces an all-star version of America’s Next Top Model. And now, Lifetime tells us that we’ll see some of our favorite reality stars back on an all-star edition of Project Runway?! Is 2011 just a year-long Christmas?! Because this is quite a gift to us pop-culture junkies: In addition to a ninth season of the Emmy-nominated fashion competition, the network will air Project Runway All Stars, eight one-hour episodes featuring previous contestants. This makes it slightly different than the two-hour Project Runway: All-Stars Challenge, which saw the return of players Jeffrey Sebelia, Santino Rice, Daniel Vosovic,...

Seth Aaron Henderson's "Project Runway" finale collection was bold, but he didn't really expect it to cause controversy, much less make people think he sympathized with Nazis.
The designer's final collection was inspired by Russian and German military uniforms of the 1940s, which many Zap2it readers found offensive, identifying those uniforms with the horrifying historical events that occurred in Europe at the time.
"I have absolutely no love for that party whatsoever," he reassured Zap2it Friday (April 23). "But through my life here, I've met tons of people, Germans that lived through it and they've shared their stories. They said it was horrible times. The point is a statement is what I drew from it. So their points were they were terrible people, but you knew when they were there. Even though they're gone and it's over, they're still there."

Emilio Sosa and Seth Aaron Henderson were the last two designers standing, but it's Henderson who can now add "Project Runway" winner to his resume (and $100,000 to his bank account).
(Congrats to the 73% of you who guessed right in our poll!)
Judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Faith Hill loved Henderson's 1940s German and Soviet military-inspired collection.
"You accomplished your goal of amping up your sophistication and elegance," Klum told Henderson. "You certainly do know how to put on a show."
Garcia said Henderson is "fearless" while Kors called the collection "exhilarating and powerful."
Henderson definitely showed us he's thrilled to be the "Project Runway" champion. Upon being crowned the winner, he 38-year-old designer jumped up and down in excitement and then brought his kids out on stage, pointing out to them how hard work pays off.
Now it's off to the big leagues.

The seventh season of "Project Runway" is coming to a close, but who should win?
Mila Hermanovski, Emilio Sosa and Seth Aaron Henderson will send their models out for Part 2 of the finale, airing Thursday, April 22 at 10 p.m. Et/Pt.
If we're judging solely on personality, Seth Aaron should lead. This isn't to say that he's not without skill. He has a definite point of view, has been praised for his work and even has two wins to his name. It would appear that editing is his biggest challenge, so we're hoping he takes Tim Gunn's advice and presents something smart but still signature Seth Aaron for the finale.
Emilio has racked up the most wins by far and claims the last three in a row, so he's been getting consistently better. He may not win any friends with that attitude, but it hasn't hurt him in the competition.

"Project Runway" goes back to grade school with its latest challenge.
On the Thursday, Feb. 18 episode, the designers are challenged to make clothes for 11 impish little girls.
It's a big challenge despite the small clothes, and Jesse for one is not thrilled at all.
Take a look at the promo:
Also sneak a peek at additional stills from the episode. Here you see Emilio working with a small dress form. Miniature things look so much cuter.
It's no surprise that happy-go-lucky Anthony would get on famously with the small fry.
And it appears that this little one appreciates what Jay is designing while model Monique looks on.

Now that we've identified "Project Runway's" Daniel Franco on "American Idol" during the Los Angeles audition, we were curious about how he's been faring in the design world.
Although he presented a line of clothes during La Fashion Week in 2006, it appears he's actually available for weddings -- not as a singer. EW reports that he owns Wednow.net and hosts designer weddings at The Albertson Wedding Chappel in Los Angeles. Their tagline reads: "Affordable, modern and tasteful wedding ceremonies daily."
And although he currently provides florists, photographers and all the works, he's still lacking that central piece: the wedding dress. Franco intends to launch his own line of wedding dresses in the future.
Besides that, Franco still has dreams of singing on stage, so now he has his sights on Simon Cowell's "The X-Factor," which has no age limit.

American Idol producers, what's in your Coca-Cola cups? Tonight's Dallas audition episode was going oh-so-swimmingly -- from a televised-entertainment perspective, if not from a "there's the next Kelly Clarkson!" viewpoint -- but then on Day 2 you had to go and replace witty/caustic Neil Patrick Harris with teen heartthrob Joe Jonas, who appeared to be under the impression he'd signed up for the role of "Chalk Outline" on an episode of Law & Order. I mean, as far as woeful substitutions go, why not just recast Dreamgirls and give Jennifer Hudson's pivotal role of Effie to Jasmine Trias? But while...

Oh, Daniel Franco, where did you go? To American Idol, it seems! If you were watching last night's L.A. audition show, you might have caught the former Project Runway contestant on your TV screen. (Blink, though, and you might have missed him!) Yep, Franco was the guy featured in the Adam Lambert look-a-like montage who told judges: "If Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle had sex, which is pretty far-fetched, I'd be it, pretty much." So why did he decide to audition? "Anyone that knows me knows that I love singing," he says. "I’ve been singing before I thought of becoming a fashion designer.

American Idol is still marching along with its auditions, and last night's episode had us in Los Angeles. We had guest judges Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry, but those weren't the only familiar faces we saw. During a segment on contestants who were aping Adam Lambert, we saw a guy who said that he would be the product of Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert having sex. He seemed familiar, and now the folks behind Project Runway have figured it out: It was former Project Runway contestant Daniel Franco.
Franco appeared in not one, but two seasons of Runway, and was made out to be sort of crazy. He didn't win, and is apparently testing out other avenues in the realm of reality television. He doesn't mention anything about this endeavor on his website, but then again, he hasn't updated his blog since 2007. It doesn't appear as though Franco got a golden ticket,...

Occasionally, American Idol's audition rounds include one auditioner who's semi-famous yet not acknowledged on screen. The first one I can remember is when actor/comedian Chris Wylde auditioned during season four. Last night during the Los Angeles auditions, there was a fleeting cameo by crying girl Ashley Ferl, who was again crying after apparently being dismissed from the auditions early, but the really weird appearance was by Project Runway seasons one and two designer Daniel Franco,...

Daniel Franco, double "Project Runway" ejectee, has taken up reality show hopping.
"American Idol" got a special visitor on its Los Angeles audition show Tuesday night (Jan. 26) when Franco showed up to pay tribute to Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert.
"If Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle had sex, which is pretty farfetched," Franco quipped. "I'd be it, pretty much."
Franco was part a montage that included people who dressed like Lambert as an homage and to be noticed at the auditions. At 38, Franco exceeds the audition age limit of 28, so his presence was obviously a joke. It's no "Pants on the Ground," but we'll take it.
On the first season of "Project Runway," Franco was ignominiously booted out on the first episode. Undeterred, he pleaded his case and was accepted on the following season of "Project Runway." After a few highs and lows, he was eliminated in the fourth episode, inspiring...

At the end of tonight's American Idol episode, Ryan Seacrest explained that Chris Golightly and "22 others" from the Los Angeles auditions scored Golden Tickets to Hell Week. And so, naturally, the producers chose to ignore said wealth of talent, showing only five successful auditions and instead choosing to focus on the sweaty, the sassy, and the possibly psychotic. There was time for other activities, too, like painting womankind with the ancient brush that tells us ladies who have a difference of opinion should be automatically labeled "catty"...by the likes of Ryan Seacrest.
